I'm curious as well. It's interesting that portions of this attraction are outdoors, as that makes the entire ride susceptible to weather shutdowns.

In theory.... if this ride has wheels and is able to be driven, wouldn't that mean much less time spent in testing and a lot less issues trying to get everything RIGHT compared to Gringotts?

No clue. I assume its own little section.

The ride system itself is possibly simple (I don't know enough about it to say), but the rest of the ride will be complicated, especially if the AAs are as big as they should be

I would hope so, at least with the ride vehicles. But this is Universal we're talking about. I'm sure they will push the boundaries of SOME technologies regardless.

This will be considered its own mini land, sort of like a sub-section to JP (hence the demolition of the archways). Whether the Skull Island area will be separately partitioned off or just kind of blend in I am not sure, but the archways' movement will make it so that the entrance to Jurassic Park disassociates that area with the Kong ride.

This would be a nice change of pace.......would love a ride where you are not being constantly thrown around but still wows the rider with immersive sets, animatronics, visual effects and sound.

I certainly hope this means we will be tossed around and thrown into dangerous near death experiences. I love a mighty jostling.

Because we need more near death rides. TF, Spidey, FJ, Gringotts, DSMM, Simpsons... need I say more?

The same could be said with Disney princesses, fairy tales, and happily ever after. I'd list the attractions but it's not necessary. Fact is both are catering to their paying customer.

I'm pretty sure going up against King Kong was never going to be a walk in the park. Hell, even the original was pretty terrifying and had a significant drop.

That's like saying you want a television drama that doesn't involve a doctors, lawyers, or cops.

But Mummy and Terminator are cool.

Not saying the other rides aren't, but they're more unique. Spider-Man was always my favorite (and still is, nothing they've built has topped it imo) because of how unique it was... then came FJ, then TF, then Gringotts, etc. After awhile, everything starts to feel the same.

How about we not go for the drama? Something more like ET or even Cat in the Hat would be much appreciated.
