I'd rather they keep NBA city but get a new chef to come in and redo the menu. Make it into a yardhouse type of place.

NBA City is horrible. It wasn't even that busy and it literally took an hour to get our food after we ordered. And it felt longer than that.

An all sports place would be a great idea! One of the best(if not best) theme parks in the world deserves to have a much better restaurant right by it.

I'm watching the remake now and DANG this is gonna make for a mighty fine ride. I can see what the temple is gonna look like and it's gonna be sick. My big hope is less screens, more physical sets. Skull island needs to be alive and breathing not confined to a couple screens. Another thing I want is a bigger focus on bugs instead of dinos. Those bugs are terrifying and would make for some incredible AAs and scenes. It'll also help differentiate it from JP next door. Overall I'm more pumped than I already was, now if all things go according to plan...

I agree, but the 2005 Peter Jackson KING KONG movie is just one of many retellings of this character and I'm sure there will be many more in the future. I don't think the attraction will follow the 2005 movie to a T.

The great thing about KONG is that you don't need to have seen any movie. All you gotta know is that it's a big gorilla and you're sure to have a great time on the ride.

Well I realized while watching this that skull island has no technology whatsoever. It's a straight up jungle with natives and giant bugs. It's like if Hammond just plopped dinosaurs and bugs into JP without building anything else and just letting them roam free. Such a cool setting and I agree it'll definitely fit next to JP

Yeah totally it's a timeless character old or new. I don't think it'll follow the movies story but more of a jaws skull island tour (I'm totally down with) this is definitely going to a timeless ride that even foreigners who have never heard of kong before will have the time of their lifes on. Can't wait

It was based on a 1976 movie King Kong (1976 film) and King Kong Encounter, a previous attraction on the long running Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood.

How amazing would it be if they open this ride on June 7th, 2015? 25 years exactly after the original opened.
