If I remember correctly HTF hinted that Beetlejuice is on its way out as well, so I assume it will become a part of the attraction.

So the original rumor of Beetlejuice being tossed to build a new "broadway" style theater for something such as Wicked sounds like it's now been changed too. This is a VERY fluid/dynamic business with ever-changing plans! :smiley:

Do we expect to see construction start for this next year - after DA - or at the end of this year? I think the timescale could determine what kind of attraction we get too. The less time there is to build the more I think it will be 360-esque.

Especially considering the debate raging on Magic right now over the use of 'screens' versus 'animatronics' in rides, I am very eager to see Universal raise the bar in animatronic technology. It sounds like this and the purported dragon in Gringotts just might do that!

Right! I'd forgotten about that. I still can't get over how much more spectacular Diagon is going to be compared to Hogsmeade (and Phase One was pretty damned amazing).

I love that animatronics type rides are not going away. I always love those type of rides better than ones with screens. There is just something more magical about them.

IMHO, that damn thing better have graffiti! I never got to write on the wall of the original attraction, I want my chance :fist:

Just incase some people overlooked it in the King Kong Stash announcement HTF said the attraction would include: A new queue, new preshows, a new RV, a new station, new track, and custom show scenes complete with Kong in the flesh!

Doesn't say new showbuilding, which is where the speculation about it being 360-esque is coming from

Universal is certainly committed to their IP's but will they drop the bucks on a life-size Kong after all the previous experience? Not that they shouldn't, but WOULD they?

Doesn't make much sense to me since Kong 360 takes place on Skull Island and the 8th wonder of the world is after Kong is captured from Skull Island.
