The leaked plans have it removed, with a narrower street for the service entrance.

Leaked plans? Do you mean the vague NOC layouts published by the city?

On this old one it looks like the service road would go back to the original width before they added the turn around. Where the darker pavement would go but the lighter would stay.

So being bored on Saturday night, I stumbled across this. Some plans were filed to the South Florida Water Management that gives a good idea on what the show building and project area for Kong will be. I threw up this together based on the filings. The red outline is the project outline, and the shaded light pink area is the apparent show building.

^^^If the scaling is correct, some of it may go/stay depending.

Great photos!

I still have trouble believing that Thunder Falls is not part of this. I know it's not within the existing outlined project area, but who knows, changes to an existing structure could be a separate project.

This image is just pure speculation, but imagine using the Thunder Falls structure as the attraction entrance/exit and indoor queue area (the optional extended outdoor queue would be outside, by the JP show building). Thunder Falls connects directly to the Load/Unload area of the attraction.

The ride starts with an indoor portion, heads outside for some fun, and then back inside for unload.

Thoughts? This makes so much sense to me.

The massive 'ramp to nowhere' is kind of interesting. Anyone know if its anything specific or just a very neat pile of excavated material?

The controversial ramp to nowhere! It may be as simple as a temporary pile of dirt to more easily load excavated junk into dump trucks for removal. But I don't really know, I just liked the idea of the ramp to nowhere becoming a big mystery.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but they HAVE started clearing land but they HAVE NOT actually broken ground for the project yet. Right?
It's hard to tell without a big blue shovel being involved.

Update from @TouringPlans yesterday on Twitter, with land moving starting to gradually pick up pace by the looks of it.

Great shots!

I can't believe they aren't taking out that bus turn around area. There has to be another spot for that...

If they have an event in potter and an event in marvel it's the only way to get people to a JP (or Kong) event.
