This reminds me of the Ghostwood Estates shooter Kennywood put in a couple decades ago. It replaced the dark ride that was in the building and basically just repurposed it. This Phantom Theater shooter is eerily similar.
Bottom line though, it's good they're trying to balance the park out with attractions besides outdoor on concrete coasters.

Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare is a considerable improvement over Boo Blasters on Boo Hill. It doesn't recapture the atmospheric spookiness of the original but it is still great to see a new high-quality original dark ride at a regional park.

We waited about 1.5 hours on the preview day. There appeared to be issues with some of the spellbound flashlights not working on a number of the vehicles, so that along with all the merging of FastLane riders made the standby line really crawl.

Yes but does the Maestro ever say, "What are you looking at?" My friend and I would walk around the park saying that out of nowhere. Strange for a couple of guys in their 20's but we had fun with it.
