I went to Knotts Merry Farm

Snoopy was dressed up as Santa the line took about 30 mins

The park is very well done for the Holidays....but the thing I've learned about myself is I'm a big operation person.

Snoopy on ice is a 2 hour commitment, I wish they could do a WOC type system. So you don't have to wait over an hour for the show plus trying the leave the show can take a while. I will say this is the best show I've ever seen from Knotts so it was "worth it" but insane I can walk up to WOC or Fantasmic (or Aladdin back in the day) but this is like 2 hours of your day just gone

Now the Shows are amazing, period. The two shows in the Bird Cage Theater are both very well done and I heard people crying and I felt very emotional watching them but they can sell out and that theater feels like it needs to be updated to fit more people in it

Home for the Holidays is great but once again not enough space for the show but a very well done show, having all those people doing things at once in a small stage and moving the house is great.

Line for rides were a joke most the coasters were at 2ish hours all day and food lines were also bad, I got lucky and went to the BBQ place near the boardwalk and got in and out quickly but most other places are...just packed and even at this restaurant the BBQ one there aren't enough seats. I'm by myself so went and just sat on the floor but saw families eating on a stage that says "please dont stand on stage" but no one was telling them to move..because there are not enough seats for people to eat at

So yeah people want a new coaster or some crap, no thanks. They need to fix this park before adding more. It gets crowds but has no enough room to put people places and think that should be what they work on next. Like SIx Flags MM the base is good but there are some major issues in the park and hope they try to address these along with stuff like having such a limited ordainment for APs, is that a perk when most people can't even get one and I wasn't even emailed about it?

Last note, I saw all the major shows but did miss the tree lightening because they cancelled one of the Snoopy on Ice show

Just comparing my Disney trip the day before to knotts I got wayyyyy less done, I didn't even hit a ride because the lines are just jokes over 45 mins for most of the kids flat rides even.....its just insane to me the good will this park gets with how little they care about the guest's time being wasted and its why I defend Disneyland, it costs more but they respect your time at Disneyland and make sure every ride is loading people in as much as they can and most shows don't sell out

The park needs more attractions because it needs more capacity. It needs to be operated better yes, I don’t expect that to change for the near future while six flags still tries to figure itself out.

The thing about the Knotts pass is yes busy days at Knotts are worse than disney. But Knotts is also DEAD for alot of the year during the week. You can get on everything in 3 hours on a random Tuesday afternoon in October.

Yeah Knott’s will have plenty of actual Ghost Town days during the offseason which are a great time to visit. But the park is absolutely miserable with moderate to heavy crowds due to the abysmal dispatch times on rides.

Went to knotts yesterday the rides were much easier to get on

I went on Silver Bullet for the first time in...years. Its such a good ride for sure just great and its pretty smooth for its age, if its a walk on thats an easy ride to want to get on

No shows outside the Carolers and Firemen band

Snoopy line was 1/4 what it is on the weekend

Also went on the Snoopy train ride....one person is loading and driving the Train....come on Look at Casey Jr at Disneyland and it has like 3 CMs....no idea why these companies make one person do like 3 jobs but ok

2026 mugs are now available at Knott's Berry Farm! The silver one is for the season.

Didn't get it there, because I should be getting one for free at SFMM (they do not have theirs yet as of yesterday), although we'll see. Hopefully, this mug will work across all legacy CF and SF parks. Let's hope!

I went last weekend

Just insane, I know many knotts fans don't like the idea but AP's that aren't the top pass should be blocked out on certain days the last two weeks of the year (Universal does it and Disneyland doesn't even allow any into the park)

Literally the parking lots were full and they were waiting for people to leave to get more guests in

40ish mins for food, 3 hours for most coasters.

I did have a good rope drop back after that first hour everything is filled up

But once again god bless you Knotts fans....I just don't ever want to hear them complain at lines at Disneyland because Disney is trying to make it easy...Knotts has 2 people taking orders at many resturants, I have no idea why but just insane they can't control any lines at all. The shows are insane, the rides are insane and food. For me this is the biggest fault of the park is the flow, they need like 10 more rides or bigger venues for shows to eat up this amount of guests


I saw the two shows in the bird cage theater, snoopy on Ice, the christmas carolers and was lucky enough to stumble on the moving Piano player who was taking requests.
I got on the Bagel express, Ghost Town & Calico Railroad and Calico Mine Train Dark Ride in the first 90 mins but after I got off each ride the line was huge so got very lucky

Anyway, I'm hoping the next celebrations are fun but just not as packed both Spooky Farm and Merry farm were packed when I went

How does Knott’s even operate with these crowds. I’m looking at the streets via google maps and all the streets around the park and up Beach Blvd are red 4 hours after park opening. Insane stuff.

I don't know because I only Rope drop and funny enough

When I went I left something in my car....the 15 mins to come back it went from cars moving into parking like normal..to be at standstills and also the security line going from like a few people to many groups in front of me

So I honestly have no idea how people get in after the first hour

I’ve never not been able to get a reservation, but I also don’t live down the street so I’m never making reservations day of. That said, if I can’t get a reservation, it’s probably a day I don’t want to go anyway

The end of the year does suck

My pass is ending and it is a joke I can't get days....however 99% of the year beyond the last month its mostly easy to go

I will defend Disney that is cares, Big Thunder Mountain can eat over 2,400 people and hour...I don't think one Knotts ride even gets close to that...and Disney has mobile ordering making it easy for someone like me who wants to keep moving a way to order food before a ride and pick it up right after

Disney cost a lot but it also has over 50 attractions at Disneyland and lines rarely get over 90 mins

Also I can't remember the last show I had to wait basically 2 hours for.....but Knotts theaters can't handle these crowds ans Fantasmic and WOC you just walk up and are like amazing shows, heck even fireworks aren't that hard to get a spot for outside if you want a main street spot. Along with Disney having like 2 projection shows you can just walk up to and so on....I just appreciate Disney organization and effect to make the guest flow as good as it can be

Lets hope this means maybe in 2026 this means we will be seeing other new shows at other events. I know lots of Knotts fans were not a fan of how much the events didn't change last year
