Origins has been installed inside Wilderness Dance Hall... its only a matter of time when the exterior finale segment goes up next to Pony Express & the maze facade of course

Also... heard a small rumor in regards to the Mystery Lodge maze.. "zombies", but different. I find this odd since the predecessor was Special Ops Infected.

Auditions are ramping up for anyone interested!

The audition process is very similar to how it works for HHN only with a few minor differences

- apply online for a specific height category & one of the audition times
- paperwork if you're a current employee
- line up according to your audition time (usually about 20 per group)
- you end up on a number, that number will be your designated spot in the next room
- silent zombie, vocal zombie, pick a monster from 3 choices, then individually "scare the guest" (similar to HHN's chair/cone except actual staff)
- the next room is measurements (not extensive like HHN)
- wait up to 2 weeks (or less) the email/text saying you've been cast
- set up an appointment for phone interview

Made a very brief visit to the park earlier today to bring you a construction update!

Boardwalk Ballroom is under full "Dark Ride" construction at the moment. I saw fresh lumber being brought in, but forgot to take a pic from the Sky Tower (plus Hangtime gets in the way).

Looks like it, should be interesting how they'll handle announcements this year.

2021's announcement season went like this.

July 1st - General "We're Back" teaser with 7.15.21
July 8th - Hiring Announcement
July 15th - "We're Back" announcement with Conductor/Dates revealed
July 21st - Hotel Packages available
July 22nd - Returning Scare Zones / General tickets to be released 8.16.21
July 29th - Gore-ing 20's
August 5th - Shows
August 12th - Returning Mazes
August 16th - Mesmer / General tickets released

Considering they've already done plenty of hiring announcements, they can still do a weekly announcement schedule this year fairly easily. Hotel packages are bound to come very soon be it with the announcement on the 20th or right after it. The only outlier being would they announce both new mazes at once, or announce them separately?

While this isn't a Scary Farm exclusive, I noticed they got some new Elvira stuff in stock at the Marketplace giftshop (Victoria's?) outside the park... ENJOY THE SPOOKY!

Not sure when they got the Elvira stuff in, but it was fairly recent-ish... the spooky department 51 (or whatever it's called) display is there all year long (same with the xmas display). Along with a few Knott's exclusives

The magic shop inside Ghost Town still has a Scary Farm section with leftover merch & spooky items. Most of the shirts are L-XXXL, but I did see Small/Medium sizes for the Mesmer shirt. Plenty of maze/sz hats, posters, shotglasses..

I didn't bother taking any pics (sorry).

I really was not a fan of the drip feed weekly announcements last year. I'd love for them to bring back the passholder announcement night, but as far as the 20th goes my safe bet would be dates and possibly hotel packages.

We already got the event dates thanks to the scareactor auditions last month.

We just need ticket prices & whatnot.

True, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did a separate "official" announcement for dates. Ideally, I'd like them to release dates, tickets, and hotel packages at the same time especially if they are doing the slow drip feed thing again.

It just dawned on me earlier that Fiesta Village will be under construction during Scary (& Merry) Farm this year.

I expect this area to be a literal "dead zone of safety" between Forsaken Lake, The Hallow, & CarnEvil

Oh yea, we also won't have Xcelerator to attract guests away from maze lines this year either.

It just dawned on me earlier that Fiesta Village will be under construction during Scary (& Merry) Farm this year.

I expect this area to be a literal "dead zone of safety" between Forsaken Lake, The Hallow, & CarnEvil

Oh yea, we also won't have Xcelerator to attract guests away from maze lines this year either.

FV was pretty much a zone of safety beforehand, though you could be right on it being a dead zone this year since the stage is closed during construction.

As for Xcelerator not drawing guests away, a counterpoint would be that Hangtime is back open so it could even out in that regard. Either way, most of the crowd is gonna' be drawn towards the two new mazes and Ghostrider.
