Quick question: I'm assuming the Lard Lad donuts on sale for $3.95 are yesterday's batches? Because at that price, they seem quite reasonable.
I've tried a small bite of it in Florida, and it's definitely very sweet (I'm sure that was a given). Tasted pretty good.Question: has anybody tried them? If so, any thoughts?
I had one for HHN last year. Great to have during a long line!Question: has anybody tried them? If so, any thoughts?
Just finished one at home and here's my take: it's good, but I'm never buying one again.Question: has anybody tried them? If so, any thoughts?
Why is that?Just finished one at home and here's my take: it's good, but I'm never buying one again.
Calories aside, I'm not that into sweet food. I'm glad I did it, but I can't see myself eating that thing again. Why is that?
How many calories are in the donut?Just finished one at home and here's my take: it's good, but I'm never buying one again.
That's a bit ironic when you think of it. Haha.I Got Real Lucky Once, They Had An Event For Kaiser Permanente
And That Had The Lard Lad Donuts for: 2 for $5
It's definitely worth trying at least once.I've always seen them but never thought of actually buying one, guess I should finally join the club!
Pretty fresh. You look at it in the box thinking it's somewhat.. "preserved", but it's actually a freshly made donut (unless its the batch from the day before as pointed out by Jon). How fresh are these compared to normal doughnuts?
