I mean surely it'll be better than playing a mish-mash of Blumhouse movies and then have M3gan dancers for 90 sec.

The M3gan dancers were hands down the best part of Behind the Screams.

I'd argue the Blumhouse exhibit lobby was the best part.

It was really cool the see the FNAF animatronics up close as well

IIRC, I saw on Reddit they did a press junket for the movie at the DWT as well.

I saw two different shows last night (the co hosts were different actors)

He repeated a few questions, so now I question if all these questions are from the audience or if some are just things the writers said...like there is a Megan question is that from a person or basically a kinda ad for Megan, because he did the Megan question in more then one show with the same answer.

Needs to be extended by 4 more minutes, but I really love what I am seeing from Late Night with Chucky. Think it fits HHN's tone really well, and I can't wait to ask Chucky if he was truly responsible for the 2008 Backlot Fire.

Honestly, it feels like a "preshow" for a Chucky attraction of some kind, not an actual show.

He also felt more censored/neutered INSIDE DWT compared to when he was outside.

Surprised they didn't use the "water spray" effect for a "blood spray" at the end.

That is exactly what I thought but so far, the show looks really great in my opinion.

I'm just NOT fan of the "hosts". I understand the main show host is necessary for obvious reasons (aka- Chucky safety :eyes::lol: & crowd control), but for me, they just dragged it down a bit.

Could've just had Chucky interact with the tech people voices & had a prerecorded voice over for the lobby (multiple phrases to keep it "fresh")

I'm with everyone on the hosts based on the initial show. Chucky is the main draw and he's more than capable of carrying the show on his own (we speak as though he's real because he is). Having a framing device for the show is fine, but we're there to hear Chucky say funny things, not to hear the host hemming and hawing and being scared.

If half the show consists of the host hamming it up, that ruins the repeatability for me. Part of the draw of the street actor is the spontaneity. Sure, some of the jokes were repeated, but you felt like every time you walked by there was a chance for something out of pocket to happen, and having the show inside needs to account for that by minimizing the structure or no one will see it twice.

When they said they needed actors for a comic host I didn't think it meant a literal host along side chucky.

Admittedly, outside of Child's Play I am not a Chucky fan. He just never clicked with me. With that being said though, I remember the Insult Emporium and thought it was entertaining and obviously the house last year was great.

I watched a video of Late Night with Chucky from last night, and I am willing to hear what other people say as the season progresses but I feel like I saw an entirely different show. It felt slow, clunky, and unfortunately not very funny. No fault to the hosts as it's part improv and part crowd work so it can live or die by the material. Time will tell if it stands up I guess. It's still a pass for me but I will be curious to see people's thoughts in a few weeks.

While I haven't watched any spoilers yet, one point in it's favor is that if the questions vary, there's repeatability for this show, which is pretty clever.

Waterworld Purge and Jabbawokeez were/are good, but they're not really shows you need to see more than once. So it'll be nice for the FFP people to be able to see a show multiple times.

Luckily, like Behind the Screams, it's more than likely going to be a one and done and will be replaced with something else for HHN 2025.

The little bit that I've seen of videos, it's two or three varied questions, then one or two stock questions that lead to something specific. The premise is odd to me if that's the route they're going to go instead of having fun with it. Who knows, maybe it'll change up as nights go on or maybe that was simply just the format for the preview.

I hope they allow writers to change stuff up and maybe even do some Meta jokes about HHN like the ugly ass Werewolf they made this year, lol

Let me know if I can post the video here
