Map Key:
- Dark Black Background - Land under Universal's Shingle Creek Development District
- Light Yellow Background - Land owned by Universal suitable to build on
- Dark Yellow - Land built, being built on or occupied by utilities
- Light Green on Yellow Background - Land available for Universal to build on
Assumptions
- Universal wants to eventually get around to building a 4th gate
- Universal wants to at least increase hotel rooms by 2,000 (plan here has 5,000 rooms)
- Non-Bus Transportation actually happens
- The area between Epic and the Courtney/Addison apartments is saved for a future parking garage
- Lockheed and Water Treatment stay put
Universal Land of Wonders Theme Park - I won't go into detail here, but with the shape of how Epic and the parking lot was laid, it's apparent that the parking lot will eventually be home to a theme park of sorts. I'm not quite sure how a 4th park differentiates itself from the other 3, but it could center itself around myths and legends. A Lost Continent (ironic I know) inspired entrance that connects to some of our world's historic tales...
DC Comics, Lord of the Rings, etc.
Resort Hotels
- Mythos - a Helios-style resort acting as that park's "in-park" hotel. Likely a premium resort like Helios with 500-600 rooms.
- Shingle Creek Lodge - it's currently a nursery, but eventually could house a beautiful view of the nearby Shingle Creek and give Universal a "nature" resort in the style of Wilderness lodge.
- Japanese - Japanese gardens, etc.
- Egyptian Resort (current Bus depot) - likely the least to happen, but assuming they don't relocate this bus depot, it's prime location for a sprawling hotel like Royal Pacific.
- Universal Kids Lodge - I assume that Universal might not want to do a Kids Park or another full blown Water Park... but a hotel with a water park that tied to children's' IP? That sounds like a winning concept.
Universal Square
- A central plaza (sort of like Disneyland's Esplanade) with a Universal globe at the center and a handful of dining concepts and a large Universal store.
Universal Plaza
- An entertainment-driven district similar in scale to Pointe Orlando, but with exciting concepts like Horror Unleashed, Meow Wolf, etc.
Transit Stop - preferably something more realistic than a tunnel. Street-level trolleys or an elevated people mover like at airports.
