I literally clapped when the short mid-credits played because... reasons. But we didn't get Bohner'd by a long shot! Can we have that No Way Home trailer now??
So just like it was Agatha All Along, it was Kang All Along. I think what we've learned from these Disney+ shows is if something seems too obvious that it can't possibly be what is going to happen, it's probably going to happen. The reason for that is because it's only obvious to Marvel or comics geeks, so the general public had no idea who Agatha was or who Kang was/is even after this episode really.
I was saying beforehand that the only reason I didn't think it would be Kang was because they'd have to spend too much time introducing a new character in the finale episode which, tbh, I think they did waste a lot of time, especially in a short-ish episode, but overall, it worked. Jonathan Majors was absolutely incredible, and thought this was a great introduction to his character.
I was at least right that we'd get some loki v. loki action and Sylvie would turn on our Loki, but when she said towards the end "but i'm not you" was that supposed to be interpreted as she's not a Loki or...? I had sort of guessed that may happen, but i'm still unsure what she actually meant there.
The only thing that really has me questioning anything is that we have Shang-Chi, Hawkeye, and Eternals before we get to No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness. How am I supposed to watch the next two movies and pretend that Kang ain't out there and the multiverse isn't broken wide open?
