New Utility Events Space. In the past I have heard USH wants to have Sprung Tents on a scale similar to Orlando, but I don't know if that is still the plan.

Assuming it is like the Nu!Sprungs, then I would expect a tent to be going up through November-January.

I’m cool with that as long as they don’t replace the sound stage venue(s). Not counting Hudson Gate, we need at least one.

I’d be fine with it. It would be bittersweet since that venue has been used since practically the (re)beginning of HHN.

Fencing is being positioned to block access to the area, and water drainage markings are now being placed. The venue seems to be one massive structure, with it having an angled fork at a certain point of the markings.

I have no inside knowledge, but I’m gonna bet this will be a warehouse that will primarily be used for FFN and HHN.

I have been told directly Utility Events Space will be used for Halloween Horror Nights as a house venue. I suspect it'll serve the purpose of SS15, and serve both HHN + FFN (as @Freak brings up).

Shouldn't be ready for Fan Fest Nights 2026, but it will be ready for when construction starts on HHN.

Food for thought: With DC and Universal in talks to develop DC attractions for the parks now, if the deal further materializes, Maybe this could be the land for the SS 16-24 when it goes for park expansion.

From my understanding--the gameplan has been to have a brand new structure for park use, specifically beginning with Halloween Horror Nights 2026. Work halted in August as they were running against the deadline to get the asphalt done so they can figure out the queue situation for Jason Universe and Wyatt Sicks--and as a result they were forced to not work on the site as it was being publicly used.

Hence, why you have seen the concrete wall chip a small bit over the past few months. As for how Activision got it, I think it's just that they weren't going to begin that work until they knew they can do so without any further hiccups. The result should be a large structure, and with no major events now occurring that affects the lower lot until April--they can begin without any further delay.

I was doing some mathing with a few of my colleagues--if it's anywhere similar to the Orlando Nu!Sprungs that debuted in 2024, then the structure should be finished by Late March/Early April if they're going to go aggressive.

As for where they're storing the materials--I have my thoughts and I'm getting a friend to check on something as a result.

Used for another Halloween Horror Nights house.

Mummy and Jurassic will also be used for a Horror Nights house—so remember what I said with queuing going to be hell, because it very much will be.

I assumed this was basically a permanent building they’ll be using as an additional HHN/FFN house. If it’s literally just a warehouse, I don’t understand how this could be related to events as they keep almost nothing from houses after the event and what little they do keep probably isn’t on park property. There’s nothing to keep in a warehouse.

It would also be really ugly for one of the first things guests see on the lower lot, unless they theme the exterior…? I feel like even just keeping it as an empty lot for extended queues would be more useful for HHN/FFN than using it for storage.
