Marvel Studios has found a director to helm the adaptation of The Eternals, for Phase 4.



Chloe Zhao, was on the shortlist for when Black Widow was finding a female director to helm.

For Context: The Eternals is a Jack Kirby series, revolving around a group of beings; created by the celestials, that live for long periods of time.

That said, there were other individuals on the shortlist, including apparently; Travis Knight (Kubo/BumbleBee); Nicole Kassell (HBO's Watchmen) & Cristina Gallego and Ciro Guerra (duo for the last two).

Also, upon looking more of the backstory; this might be the way they may introduce X-Men & Mutants, due in part to the Deviants.

Chloe Zhao directed The Rider which is an EXCELLENT film. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it soon. Getting her as a director is a major win for Marvel.

And I 100% agree that this will most likely be the way they introduce the X-Men. Seems like the easiest way to go about it.
