Universal Studios Hollywood have quietly announced that Mega Movie Summer will be returning for the 2026 operating year at Universal Studios Hollywood. It is not clear what they will be doing to change up the experience, from comparison to 2025's, but it has been officially confirmed since earlier this month.

I feel like Jaws should be back, these are jut rumors but I'm hearing Rumors the Jaws characters should be back near grinchmas as well but we will see if this i true next month

Would love to see Dreamwork be used for something new even just at night time

I also assume HP beasts will come back and we will see what other IPS they focus on

With "The Mummy Returns" celebrating 25 years, it'd be nice if they did stuff with The Mummy for this event

Bring back the "Mummy Guard" stilts, the Universal Monsters Mummy character, then add Imhotep, etc.. they definitely have props & whatnot from the Brendan Fraser trilogy. If the Jurassic set-up gets cleared out after FanFest, the location would be perfect for a Mummy area experience

Probably won't happen, but figured I'd put it out in the universe. I'll keep an eye out for future casting emails

Mummy would be cool, I'm sure there is not enough time for both but also...if they could use the extra space in the lower lot they could bring some props and photo ops to the lower lot as well.

While this would be cool and what I want...the only thing on my mind is I'm assuming on some way the Jurassic characters will come back for Mega Movie....no rumors but its what they did with BTTF last year. You have the actors already and things ready for photo ops as well

if they wanted to do something extra, they could bring back the original ending for ROTM...that'd be a feat to see brought into play for permament MMS inclusions (like the enhancements for Jurassic World last year)

Mummy just seems like a no brainer as far as IPs go for this year. Its a Universal IP, it's a nostalgia fueled classic, & has an anniversary

That's my speculative hope. Otherwise bring back "The Mummy Returns: Chamber of Doom" as our "repeat house" for HHN lol
