Absolutely insane addition. I've been hearing about this Coaster since I was a Zygote. This is the Metroid Dread or Ghostbusters 3 of Disney World announcements. So incredibly cool to see it all come full circle.
Few of us in the Parkstop chat were discussing Height Requirements, and it seems interesting that the concept art doesn't show any younger kids and that the model traditionally has a height requirement only a little bit lower than coasters like Mummy and Hagrids. It'd be a shame if this doesn't turn into a proper way to disperse the Slinky Dog Dash crowds a little bit more evenly. Young kids need a ton more to do in DHS, and that Sully playground is a good addition, but ain't gonna cut it on it's own. Especially if they rip out Disney Junior and TLM for it.
Speaking of, land placement is the real monster here. They have a perfect location choice (Animation Courtyard, liminal space that it is), a solid choice (Indy show, Sounds Dangerous, Star Tours areas), and
the Bad Ending (Muppet-Vision 3-D
). Here's hoping they pick either of the first two spots. Muppets is small enough that they could just leave it alone. I lost Dinosaur last night, I can't be losing Muppet-Vision/Rat Pizza too! I wanna believe!
I'm excited for the loading station to be based on these rooms.
