If they are reusing figures or scenic design

What could they possibly reuse that’s the question.

A lot of people keeping throwing this out there like this is a real possibility. But Disney hasn’t really done this exact thing in decades.

I don't think the figures will be used as the main figure in an an overall show scene, but maybe as secondary figures during the faster coaster sections?

Since about September, I've been prepping myself for the blow that the answer to what will be replacing Muppet-Vision is "Meet Mike and Sully", as opposed to a full show. If we actually do end up getting something larger in that spot, that will be wonderful and an overall very needed capacity upgrade. We'll see what happens, I suppose.

I am willing to give Disney some benefit of the doubt based on their remarkable work as of late, but I'll admit that the seeming silence on that potential attraction is disconcerting. I can't and shouldn't jump to any conclusions ... but it's certainly worrying!

The Iger era is about to end very soon and I highly doubt Josh would go for that. He needs all the positive press his first couple of years.

They also had no reason to do anything to Rock n' Roller Coaster, and yet they did, so I think they know that need to make the Muppet-Vision replacement worthwhile.

And again, it's possible they're just changing the concept. Frozen Land in Hong Kong pretty rapidly shifted their secondary ride over from a flat ride to a coaster, so it's possible that's happening here as well.

People are gonna need to start adjusting their expectations a little as we began this new era at Disney with Josh and Dana at the helm.

To be fair, we kinda have no idea either way! I hope you are right, of course! We will just have to wait and see how the new guard handles things moving forward, and that might take a bit. Whatever new direction they go with might take a moment to really solidify.

I believe Martin (or someone of his stature) on Magic described what he'd heard is going there (which might not be accurate) as "attraction-adjacent." That screams "Princess Fairytale Hall/Enchanted Tales with Belle" plussed meet-and-greet to me.

I hope it's an actual show with an ambition level at least attempting to match the scale of Muppet*Vision, because that's the only way losing M*V could ever be acceptable.

Okay, so like didn't they reuse the Three Caballeros for the Mexico boat ride not that long ago?

There's a ton of door theming and even small scenic elements throughout the attraction in DCA worth keeping. I mean this is a company that reused props from the now gone Muppets courtyard in the new Muppets Show revival special. No reason to not utilize old props if they're still good.
