I’ll sum up my frustration with this feels like for stock holders and not fans

If fans don’t want details, then I guess I’m just a different type of fan

But this is a huge project

To announce it with nothing ja like announcing a video game 6 years before to comes out to draw investment and keep stocks high over announcing hey this is the new Tomorrowland here are some pictures of what we want to do and yes the people mover is coming back

It’s literally fan service tho. Disney is saying “we know the fans have been asking for a refresh of Tomorrowland so today we want to announce that we are working on that.” They didn’t release details because they probably don’t have anything locked in at this time.
