Guys…we’re never getting anything but a dance/stunt/magic show in the Fear Factor space. It’s the easiest, most culturally-accessible thing you can do to take people off the streets. The effectiveness of a parody/comedy show is way too dependent on people’s individual experiences/sensibilities (even Bill & Ted, from a way different era, had to tack on sexy dancers to hedge against this). And basing a show like that on an IP that’s only significant within the very specific niche of HHN super fandom will just never happen at this scale. I mean, even myself as a super fan hated the Jack show back in 2015 (which was in a smaller “venue” during, again, a different era). The best we can hope for for this space going forward is that it’s broadly appealing enough that it zaps some bodies off the streets away from the things you actually like at the event.
