And yeah, they put money into it, but doesn't mean it has to stay around forever. They put money into Superstar and Cinematic Spectacular and both are underwhelming/in need of an upgrade.

Money doesn't always equal quality (although for what it was, the Songebob Store is nice).

Completely agree thematically. But, 3 years seems short, even for Universal. I can't remember anything else they've completely removed that quickly while Comcast has owned them. I personally think that Nickelodeon was going to go in KidZone and the Spongebob store was either a proof of concept for Nickelodeon's execs or (a very expensive) pilot to test the feasibility of a Nick KidZone.

Obviously, it didn't work out.

Realistically, how much money did they really put into it, anyway? I'm sure they've made multiples of the money they put into it.

Exactly, I think people are way overestimating how much money went into it just because it looks good.

Now wait just a damned minute, the Cinematic Spectacular is underwhelming?? Did you SEE Universal 360?

Of course. But just because CineSpec is better doesn't mean it's some great achievement.

Hopefully, ET will ditch the "going inside the movies" beginning portion of the queue with Spielberg and just focus on the forest queue.

I'd love to see a completely revamped pre-show. Hopefully, ET will go down for a full refurb after Nintendo opens.

I wouldn't mind if they did away with the preshow entirely, or just made it play on TV screens in the extended non-forest part of the line. Waiting for the preshow in a ride where the preshow isn't even that important is a bit silly imo.

It gives the TMs a slight break. Or at least it used to when the computers were there.

I've worked ET before at the computers and we actually go through and put everyone's name in (or as close as we can get). It's a never ending process really because just as you start to finish with one group, the next is let in from the pre-show.

I know its been brought up before, but I really just loved the idea someone had of Elliott's house being part of the queue. That would be a much better than hearing my name at the end, in my opinion.

It could still stay. You could have the E.T. entrance rerouted to the side of the Spongebob store farthest from KidZone and start NintendoLand right in front of the current KidZone stage (up the path a bit more, closer to the fork in the main paths).

Yellow = future NintendoLand area (Animal Actors stage too?)
Black = Spongebob Storepants building
Red = outline of rerouted E.T. Adventure entrance path
Blue = edge of NintendoLand where entrance will be (maybe a bit closer to the Spongebob Storepants building)

Add the Animal Actors building and reduce the blue outline to being more closer to the SpongeBob building and you could be good..

WAJA598 wanted to make a outline of what he thinks would possibly get replaced for Nintendo. And i'll give credit to WAJA here that its a good guess of space to be used for the project.

Can't wait to hear of what specific IP's will be used. (Other than Mario of course)

As unfortunate as it is, i'd agree with you on DK and Yoshi being the other two to get the spotlight.

One day Hyrule will take Universal with a vengeance though..
