Yes... one of the soundstages is packed to the brim with full mock-ups and blueprints/designs.

Good luck getting in there.

With how long Sting Alley has been behind skrims, I wouldn't be surprised if SNW is going back there

Also, I think Bio is planning on flying his helicopter into the soundstage, so joke's on you

Non-thread question. What is your little video shot in your signature from? I know that I've seen it before but can't place it.

I can’t seem to find the answer to this anywhere, so sorry if this has already been answered.

@AliciaStella, is the Donkey Kong coaster supposed to be launched? Or is it just a regular chain lift?

But you also didn’t say that it was chain-lift? Hmmmm.

Might be a mix of the ride starting from a raised position and a small lift hill in the middle.

Just realized that SNW already had six attractions (two dark rides, a coaster, two play areas, and an interactive attraction) and is probably going to get MORE. That’s potentially 1/4 of the new parks’ attractions.

Interesting post from Reddit: Splatoon seems to have joined the ranks of Nintendo's biggest franchises : NintendoSwitch

A quote: "The original Splatoon became the highest selling console game in Japan in several years, and enjoyed great success all over the world. It sold 4.93 million units worldwide. For context, Super Mario Maker sold 4.00 million, and Smash sold 5.34, a mere 0.41 million more. For context

The new Splatoon thus seemed to have a lot riding on it in terms of establishing it as a big, cornerstone Nintendo franchise, and it seems to have succeeded big time. Splatoon 2 has sold 6.02 million as of March 31st, and, extrapolating based on the rate at which it is still selling, it is well on its way to 10 million units sold, and may very likely even sell more than that lifetime. In Japan, it could conceivably be the highest selling Switch game for its lifetime, and, extrapolating based on legs of the game, it can get to 5 million and the top 10 all time sellers there."

I'm starting to think that we'll get something pretty big for Splatoon. Not a full-fledged land, but possibly a mini-land with an E-Ticket.

Never played the game before but something looks really attractive about it, perhaps the bright colors. looks like it would fit perfectly in the new park and bring something unexpected, just a filler attraction though nothing major.

Not really new... Tokyo is planned for 2020 with Hollywood and later Orlando following sometime 2021-2023.

While yeah, it's not new, it's good to see that they are still sticking to the target deadline for Osaka.

That said, I wonder why Hollywood was mentioned prior to Orlando..:)

I don't think that means anything substantial

As a Californian, I'm happy for the fact we're getting in first here America before Orlando. USH desperately needs a lot of love nowadays given it has a reputation of being half-theme park near to the biggest major studio in all of Hollywood, and not much room to add new rides that can be seen as exclusive in Orlando or any full Universal theme park overseas. Now I don't have to worry about waiting for it for so long and I won't have to fly to Japan or Orlando (and therefore wasting far more money) just to get into SNW.

If it’s on track for 2020, I’m seriously considering a trip to Japan for this and Tokyo Disney.
