OU has the option to discourage people from posting information about surveys, as well as deleting "confidential information" shared. If they don't do these things, OU may not be on the best side of Uni's legal department.

Yes, some other sites get away with it. There are a plethora of reasons, not all of them fair, associated with each case. But that's the situation and I can't blame the OU staff for protecting themselves.

I get it. But as in past cases, if someone brings over information that was posted on another site, I feel like that should be fair game. At that point we're just talking about something that has been made public, and not on OU (I know nothing has really come out of this one... I actually received it. Won't reveal anything. Just using examples.)

I do understand the caution though. Universal can be overly sensitive in many areas as we've seen in the past with people being banned from the park for simply taking pictures.

I understand your restraint in not allowing specifics/survey talk and respect it at this point, you have to cover your a**. But I just thought i'd point out that they're really going at it in the UOAP Facebook group about it. Now if THAT isn't something to potentially get in trouble for, then I don't know how anyone can if they're allowed to talk about it on an officially sanctioned and what seems like constantly monitored FB Page.

It could be a lot worse. Another board that I frequent that covers a single park seems to be micromanaged by the park's media arm. It's almost anal some of the stuff they do. It's gone as far as threatening bans on users for not properly capitalizing ride names. It benefits them to do so as the operators of the board appear to have some pretty good inside access, but to the average user it can appear silly. In the case of this board, if the park has asked them to remove something, it probably should be honored.

Based on what people are hearing, how likely is it that at least one (more traditional) AA-filled dark ride might be part of this land? Luigi’s Mansion would, I think, be a perfect fit for something that melds Haunted Mansion with Men in Black, or something along those lines.

I haven't heard anything, but I wholeheartedly agree. Luigi's Mansion would make a great trackless Mystic Manor-esque interactive dark ride. Not to mention Luigi is often, and deserves his own attraction. Especially if DK and Yoshi are apparently getting attractions, too.

Here's a better way! What are everyone's thoughts on Dinning Options that might be considered for this new land?

@BriMan asked for the survey not to be discussed. It's listed as confidential.

What are you talking about? I was asking everyone about what type of food options would be available in Nintendo Land.

To answer this question..if Kong doesn't have this (which, who knows); would it kill for some banana based foods on DK? It makes great sense since that Ape does love bananas more than the Skull Island warrior.

Good question actually, will Nintendo Land have a restaurant?

Got to assume it will have at least a quick service. I mean, it's an entire land that I imagine people will be spending a lot of time and money in, I can't imagine it NOT having a place to eat.

Guys, it's ok to discuss surveys and public information, the issue is when you start posting questions and results. You can go "Universal is surveying about food" and "hey question #2 is". We're not mad or anything, just giving a nudge.

I agree, but what it replaces has only the kidzone pizza and that area is not a part of Nintendo. My guess would be the kidzone pizza will go away since that area will be the new ET entrance. Anyway, nothing about Nintendo screams specialty food, just makes me wonder, will this just be a generic place but Mario themed? Perhaps different seating sections, desert land, cloud top, waterworld etc?

They better serve mushrooms, and I better end up huge afterwards.

I like the idea of a Nintendo themed restaurant, but only if it does not take the place of one of the rides/attractions.

My idea would be to have a restaurant inside Princess Peach's castle.

I think the mushroom themed cupcakes are about the only thing that I'd say are a safe bet. Maybe some turtle sundays and turtle candies?

But other than sweets, I think any food items would be hard to have a solid theme. They could go italian/pizza since mario and luigi appear to be italian. They could even have a mushroom pizza. But in this PC society we are living in, would they go for the stereotypical option?

I don't think the food itself would matter as much as the "theme"
