Its being rumored that the budget for Nintendo is around the 350 million mark for Osaka's version, and that theirs would be ready for 2020.

It looks like that for Osaka; they are doing it on the front side of the park. what bothers me, is the size of acreage.

It looks excluding Space Fantasy that it's 6 acres of land, which that would fit. But; if you remove Space Fantasy, that gives you about eight acres of land.

Include the 4D theatre aswell; and you have 9 acres of land, so its not like that USJ is going to has possible problem with space on all three of these scenarios.

I'm going to assume, that the 6 Acres of land I mentioned is indeed the case; as looking over on GE (Google Earth); that lines up with Kidzones size, including ETs extended line of 6 acres. My question is; will they include the building of Space Fantasy and add a extra attraction, just for Japan to make it an incentive to go there as a exclusive.

That is the greatest idea I have ever heard. I don't know much about Space Fantasy but would this be easy/possible?

Could they bring Space Fantasy to USF and make it into a Mario Kart or Mario Galaxy?

Earlier on this thread some people said the area of Kidzone they were going to use was in the vicinity of 8 acres (that , of course, excluded ET). And remember, some insiders said they were going to build "up", thus getting more bang for their buck concerning the size of the available land.

Funny, I was thinking about this the other day. Most things you can relate to the size of something else but I don't have a clue what an acre looks like either.

Essentially, I included ETs Extended line; Woody Woodpeckers Kidzone play area, Curious George, Barney, and Animal Actors. Taking it for what it is (and by @Teebin proving me wrong about it); the parade building seems unlikely to be apart of it, which to my eye, would bring more space for it. But I digress.

the 6 acres I mentioned are apart of I believe their studio wing, where they hold the yearly "Universal Cool" events.

If theres a exclusive, and it takes Space Fantasy; I don't think that it'd be Mario Galaxy, if MK is coming for their version like Orlandos (and presumably Hollywoods). I would think that its something that Japan would love. Something, that Nintendo makes that for us; doesn't really go well.

If I had to give a guess, think its going to go more like this;

USF - 2019
USJ (or USH, but maybe later) - 2020
USH - 2020/2021

It lines up with how Hogsmeade was handled, but this time it'd be a yearly cycle. If Hollywood doesn't get it in 2020, then i'd wager its due to letting Diagon have its fun; but that's a moot point for now.

..So, I have been wronged (and I wanted to, so yay!) of size. Someone on twitter made a great edit, showing the size; as it seems that may indeed take Space Fantasy AND the 4D theatre.

Remember, Mario Kart is a multi-level attraction. It'll take up less space than it should.

I expect the overall acreage to be similar to Diagon/Kings Cross

I have a feeling if they're announcing Nintendo for USO, USJ and USH; they will in a video. Nothing too revealing, but showing that all three of them will receive Nintendo at a approximate year (in this case, 2020.)

Well, rumor has it with the upcoming NX announcement, that Nintendo is taking the stage at E3 again this year after forgoing the last few in favor of extended Direct Video presentations. If that's the case, I could see them inviting UC on stage on doing a announcement there. It's major platform for this kind of announcement, at least within the gaming community who make up a decent percentage fans who would go crazy for Nintendo Land.

But they didn't sit on the news last year, so we could very well see something soon after its finalized and signed if they so please.
