I love Smash Bros. I always have. It's probably my favorite gaming series, especially the hype cycles ahead of it with all the reveals and directs and what not.
I hope we don't see a brand new Smash Bros for a few more years. Give us Ultimate DX at launch if you must, but I really would like a bit more time away from the franchise, similar to what happened between Mario Kart 8 and the upcoming 9.
Sakurai does incredible work, and is a true marvel of a developer. He has also been working on Smash effectively non-stop for over a decade now. I would really love to see what he does outside of SSB, because some of those other games on his resume like Kirby Air Ride and especially Kid Icarus Uprising are some of my favorite games ever. He seems like the kinda guy who's just going to work until he can't physically do it anymore, and even then he may just build a custom dev set-up for his retirement home. I hope we get to see at least one Non-Smash game out before he's thrown back in the Smash trenches haha.
