I tried a mini version of that last year when I planned on attending the final Bill and Ted show dressed as future Ted. That mustache of his is impressive, and there is no way I could do that.

Ok, gang.. slight change of plans..

We're actually going to hold the meet-up on FRIDAY, opening night, 9/19. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope that whoever is planning on attending can still make it. We're still working out all the logistics as far as where/when we'll meet, but please note that it will be inside the park after the 6:30 opening time. This way everyone can do Stay & Scream, the annual pass holder event, etc.

I know I'll still be there both on Friday and Saturday! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be down one person though, so that you guys can adjust your head count.

We could always do a "small" unofficial meet up on Saturday, right?

I have to work at 4:30am Sat. and Sun. But I should be there both night until about 9:30 (10:00 really, but I'll go with 9:30 for now). Mostly for the meet-up and hanging with friends.

I'm just glad it's not this weekend. I worked until 6p today. I have to be in at 4:30am tomorrow. And then back in at 10p tomorrow night for a rocket launch. Going in twice in one day for full+ shifts is....rough.

It's rapidly approaching! Halloween Horror Nights is a mere 5 weeks away. The entire OU staff will be on hand for opening weekend, so we're organizing a meet-up.

This will be a special event. We're working in conjunction with TheTimTracker. Many of you have probably seen his YouTube videos. He's a popular Vlogger who often posts content about the trips he and his wife take to the Orlando parks.

There's only 2 requirements as of now. The first is obviously that you have a valid admission for Halloween Horror Nights. The 2nd is that this is an 18+ year old event. We're sorry, but we can not be considered as chaperone for younger members of the site.

As of now, the only detail set in stone is that the event will take place on Saturday, September 20th. Time and location of the meet up will be determined at a later time.

For now, please reply to this thread if you have intentions of joining us. Please include if you'll have any guests as well so we can get a general idea of how many people to expect.

The hotel rates have really gone up. I am glad I booked a few weeks ago! Cabana and Portofino has similar rates.
