This whole new security system check point seems like a massive headache. How will the walk up/down hill be affected? Trek all the way to jurassic security or the future Frankenstein security? And how they'll handle the turnaround area next to Buca. Will that get walled off? RIP to that landscaping?
Still curious how they're going to fit that hotel in that space without looking like an awkward eyesore.
From what it seems, the walk up/down the hill should be the same as before if you go through Frankenstein. The only major change, at least likely on a temporary level, is a forced one way in/out method that's done on the bridge as you get to the main level. Once it is set up and finished, the WestSide Security Structure will be the main security point for what seems to be both Frankenstein Parking, and for those who take the Hilton bridge.
Shuttle from the bottom of the mountain to the top will drop you off directly at Central Security Hub. Should you wish to go back to Universal City/Studio City station, all you'll need to do is take the shuttle back down.
I imagine what they'll do for the turnaround is mainly just the steel wall divider that's being done right now over at Preferred parking, forcing people to exit through Curious George parking and then make the movement (but perhaps I am wrong and they'll do more heavy work).
Essentially it's going to work like this:
Entrance/Exit for Central: Going through the alley in-between Mr. BBQ and NBC Sports Grill Brew, with exit doors you use to get out of the bubble closer to Mr. BBQ side
Entrance for Eastside: The former IFly location
Exit for Eastside: Curious George
Entrance/Exit for Frankenstein: One way in/out. Those exiting will move closer to Pet's showbuilding before walking out in the process.
