Looks like Discovery Cove is getting a new night time special event this summer.

Am I reading this correctly that you can't actually get in the water during the night-time event at the water park?

• A “Welcome” cocktail, or mocktail
• All-you-care-to-enjoy buffet
• Non-alcoholic beverages, plus beer and wine for guests 21+
• Live dinner show performance

The all you can eat menu looks pretty impressive, complimentary beer and wine + one cocktail, plus a show? It looks like a solid offering at a fair price for what you get.

To add to the debate about pricing, that's the "starting at" rate. There's not a single ticket for $117 in June:

I went here earlier this year and had a good time but good lord was the food awful. I'd rather go to the Universal luau for this price.

Eh, I get it. Every other water park in town offers some sort of nighttime event, when I heard this on the radio this morning, assumed it was the same. Probably should've worked the word "luau' into the name.

FWIW, price right in line with Royal Pacific's show, although quite steep compared to the Temu version on 192. I'd need some reviews on the quality of food and drink before I even thought about going, tho.
