I didn't do Poltergeist last time, so I am actually pretty excited to experience this.

I thought Hollywood's version was severely undercooked. Just go back and watch the POVs to see how many black hallways there are. This feels like the budget conscious house to keep everything else afloat. Especially with BlumTram returning Idk if I'll even bother with either.

I'd love to be wrong, but everything I've heard tells me this will more or less be a complete copy-paste, (black wall) warts and all.

I imagine I am wrong, but one thing I had heard was that Poltergeist would have a few small changes in what was otherwise a copy-paste. The long Black wall corridor would be shortened in favor of more tech support, being one thing I had heard.

(Personal spec: There's also a mask made by Immortal Masks that seemed to be of a specific character from Poltergeist 2 being made, to where I wonder if that might make it's way to this house).

Can be wrong! But that is one thing I had heard a little bit back, to counter the IU mods.

I don't know what you mean by tech support.

The bolded bit is unnecessary - the IU mods are not a monolith, and I don't speak for all of them. As I also said in my post, I'd love to be wrong, but I'm setting expectations based on what I've heard. Hope for the best, expect the worst.
