Thanks for the info, but regrettably I had to cancel the trip since I broke my Hip and Femur three weeks ago. I'm bummed since I figured it would be a sweet spot time with fairly low/moderate attendance, and we absolutely love Portofino. . I had immediate surgery, and I'm recuperating far above my doctor's expectations. Decades of playing soccer have left me with a strong lower body, which the surgeon said was critical in a hip/leg fractures operation and recovery that's considered a very dangerous, and often deadly, surgical procedure. I was walking without a cane by the seventh day after the operation, which the surgeon said is almost unheard of. But it'll be a few months until I'm back to normal. ...Once again, I thank you for your feedback....And, unfortunately we'll be missing the grand dinner that @Disneyhead & Liza were going to cook us.

Glad to hear you’re doing well. Let me know if there’s anything that we as a community can help with!

Thanks to you all for your concern. Fortunately, my recovery is well beyond even my expectations. They didn't think I'd be able to walk again, but the doctors said it shows how important it is to keep yourself in real good shape, regardless of age. When those hip and leg bones break, it's tough to repair and come back to normal. Much more complicated than a hip replacement for arthritis etc. It'll take a few more months but, if all goes well, I should be able to make it back to Orlando in March or April. Fingers crossed. ...Once again, thanks.

I'm booked for Portofino in March and November, so yes, I'm back. I was cleared, with no restrictions, way back on Dec. 3rd. Doctors said my quick recovery was a rarity .............Anyway, the reason I'm posting is that posters on the Universal AP page are saying all Universal hotels are 100% booked for the Valentines Day/President's Day long weekend. That's good news for Universal.

Yes, but they don't work in the parks.

Each hotel has their own design, and some people try for a complete set. One from each hotel. Some hotels like Cabana Bay even have seasonal cups, that aforementioned people also must have. I mean, it's good for people to have life goals.
