I like Soarin', I like Fallon, I like Universal. It works for me too.

I just like theme park construction in any form. It is one of a kind. I can even get interested in sidewalk replacements as long as they build a wall around it

I think there's opportunity for some unique things on this attraction, we'll just have to see how they do it.

I enjoy different types of rides. Sure, I love thrill rides and awesome dark rides. However, rides like what Fallon is shaping up to be are great to just enjoy for what they are. Diversity really helps a theme park's appeal and feel. Plus, they are adding more rides. How can we complain too much about that? It won't always be what the fanatics want but will suit the masses just fine.

During the 90's and early 00's there was much moaning in the fanbase for using celebrities for attractions. Superstar Limo was the posterchild for this...

I worry this ride is going to get dated extremely fast, if not already. If they filmed the segments already but it's not opening for a while, ya know..? This troubles me.

Cameo by some "star" who turns out to be a rapist-dogfighting-embezzler-murderer-crackaddict-suicidal.

I would agree, if both are similar in ride systems and what they intend to tell in Story™.

The thing is it's a screen based ride though. So if some sort of scandal comes up, they just go dark until they figure out what to do/possibly change out the movie at worst.

The only scandal that would come up is Jimmy's drinking habit...He has been around for a while, I think he's safe...I also think the "late night hosts" are very permanent...

If anything this can be changed out as it is a projection screen and a moving platform..

With Fallon as a daily talk show host and if the "celeb" is added via separate musion and isn't part of the hard ridefilm, this becomes an easy swap. Film footage of guest, have Jimmy record new dialogue before a show taping and you have it done. Fallon was a champion of this ride's conception which means he is probably willing to help out whenever.

Dare I say this could be a consistently updated attraction just as long as Jimmy stays employed and keeps his set looking the same. That doesn't seem to be an issue ATM.
