All? Wow, so this timeline makes a ton of sense to me now

I wouldn't be shocked if the ride *feels* like nothing changed...

This does seem like a full retrack.

I thought absolutely zero track was replaced. Wasn't that the most recent rumor? Did that change?

The only thing I could ever confirm was the entire ride control system. And some effects.

More probably happened, I just haven’t confirmed it.

I'd take a slightly less abrupt stop at the fake unload station.

I didn't see any track staged anywhere in any of Bio's pics.

Control system, fix the slippage in the launch, and brakes is all I have heard.

From my understanding, the slippage in the launch is the entire reason this rehab is happening now.

Is there any pulse for when this could reopen? Or was the TVs being on just an accident of some sort.

I haven't seen any track stored nearby, either.

No idea. I saw permits for fog related stuff and A/V media related stuff. Not that there wasn’t more, just stuff I saw.

And in all honestly, the ride control system getting replaced is pretty crucial to the ride staying for a while longer more. I think we've seen elsewhere the downsides of not updating the control system of a long-running ride. Be it unnecessary errors and/or really dated systems just getting destroyed by accidental flooding etc.

True. And I guess wouldn’t a full retrack take longer?

This running for 5-10 more years would certainly warrant doing something now

I mean, it is the Spiderman of Studios, so I'll take it

I suppose they could always overlay it down the road if they wanted as well

You don't like the spontaneous spinal adjustment?

Sounds like the top of the launch with these effects?

I'm guessing if there was any track for this it would be stored behind USF, not mixed in with the deliveries of other things for EU, right?

It sounds like the high-stressed portions were replaced. Considering Nemesis (1994) coaster is just now getting the Renewable Hulk treatment after 28 years of operating (and that's outdoors), the majority of the track is probably in good shape. Most things generally store well in cool, dark places and Mummy is one of the few coasters in Orlando that are completely sheltered. It might run as much as the Hulk but it doesn't take the same outdoor beating. Not to mention the coasters on Mummy aren't as large and heavy which would otherwise add additional track stress over time.

I think an average 8-15 more years is a fair estimate before the entire thing might need replacing. But if this is going to stay that much longer, they really either need to redo everything (bring everything up to Day 1 opening as much as possible) or redo theming with something entirely new.

It's a testament to how great the coaster is so the ride itself doesn't need changing, it just deserves the show scenes to get some equally awesome TLC. Perhaps with EU's opening enough guests can flock over there to give them time to do more substantial work.

There’s also fog/steam sprays at the mini drop after fire ceiling and a spray at the finale mejay symbol at the end.

I remembered remembered after I posted that. lol Was that spray just fog or was there also water?

After the tickler incident I've become unsure of the memories on this ride.

People said there were leg ticklers on the Mummy ride vehicles and some people (the correct ones) said they never existed (in Orlando)
