Well, the TF water effect happens when a water pipe is burst open. The first scenes of RotM are meant to be eerie and discomforting. Little drips of water (or should I say "rotting bodily fluids") make more sense than a dispersed squirt effect everywhere, in my opinion.

I see where you're coming from, just a couple drops of water would be better IMO. Also if they put a rotting smell.. That'd be awesome.

I wonder if scents would work out on the ride. Heimlich's Chew Chew Train in Disney California Adventure uses a sweet cookie scent during a portion of the ride, but a scent implemented in RotM would be rather... vile. They use some pretty bad ones during HHN, to the point where I'm quite literally gagging and stumbling over. I Don't know if it'd be smart to pump nasty smells onto guests when they're locked into a ride vehicle.

Yeah, no thank you. I'm fine with pleasant smells, but was never a fan of weird smells on Its Tough to be a Bug or in HoH.

The House of Horrors scent was always faint to me. I only remember smelling something in the zombie section with the hanging body bags, and it was kinda like.. old beef jerky. I didn't even recognize it during my first go, either. Haha. What scent do they use for It's Tough to be a Bug?

Well, it's when the stink bug, Clair De Room, farts. So it smells like....yeah.

I've never smelled it.. I've pretty much always sat in the front row for that show, so the effects aren't as.. well, effective. Haha.

Anyway, back to RotM.

Or they should have more water drip on everyone.

I think there's more than enough water...they're rotting/almost dried out bodies, not a sniffling boy left home from school with a perspiration issue.

I don't think water effects for this ride are an issue. Haha. Many want to see coaster changes, but I'd also like to see them make a few updates in the first scenes of the ride - better mummy animatronics and an improved sand face (not sure what to call it) projection in the room of treasures.

Water effects are the least of my worries. I want updated projection effects similar to Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and have Mummies chase us along the coaster track and have the neon cut outs be replaced by projections of Mummies swinging their swords at us.

And a super detailed and (projected) explosive finale, similar to the original but a lot updated. It's simple things like that that would elevate this ride so much....

Also of they could make the coaster portion more intense possibly by digging into the concrete, and maybe even adding a loop which is highly unlikely. The sad reality is it'll probably be exactly the same until something else replaces it.

Digging into the concrete would help for room. It's kinda like Space Mountain at Disneyland. I just wonder how far they can dig.

At this point, I think the coaster will stay as is, but they can add a boat load of special effects to give it a better wow factor.

The smells they use in UHS are pretty good. The portion in King Kong is just a delight. That earthy smell it's just amazing... and the banana smell from the fart gun in Minion Mayhem it's a very nice touch...

Yeah, I love the Kong smell, as well as the Minion smell. I miss ET's smell.

I assume Uni has surveyed at least about a mile down for earthquakes and stuff so we have a pretty good (estimated) space.

God, I'm clueless when it comes to these scents. I thought the Kong scent was just some weird aroma coming from the air blasters. It's an addicting scent, I'll say that much.

They may have to make some dramaric changes to this ride (read, REBUILD and extend the building) when guests find out that Hippogriff is a better coaster than the Mummy. ;) They better.

This is just sad, but unfortunately probably will be true.

I'm not the biggest fan of Mummy, but come on guys, the two coasters are in completely different leagues. Mummy is still an overall better ride, it's also completely different.
