Check the area where the water taxi will be. That's the added restaurant. The other restaurant was on the first plans in the main building. That's the only difference.

a month from 65. Though I use Jack Benny's pretend 39. But, I was still playing soccer for three teams until 2 years ago. LOL (looking at TPI, he may think it's new since the proposed restaurant isn't on the Universal Sapphire artwork. I must have missed that if Parkscope posted those plans before.)

Well then, you have me by two lustrum. And yet, it is very cool to know that I may be interested in all of this themed environs sh*t for years to come.

You know, they always said it gets better the older you get (if your health holds up). They were right. I have a blast now that all the stressful stuff is in the past. The Theme Park stuff helps me get through the lack of playing sports anymore. But heh, 50's and 60's are the new forties (people that don't know me think I'm 40). Ever look at the old pictures and those hard lives made a 50-60 year old look like today's 80 year olds. Back to Sapphire Falls, it looks like it'll be a good convention hotel, but since it won't have express and probably cost a notch above Cabana, I'll probably still combine a few days at Cabana with the rest at Portofino . I checked Universal's site and it appears all four hotels are sold out for this 3 day holiday weekend. It's showing no availability for rooms. Good for Universal.

Back to Sapphire Falls, it looks like it'll be a good convention hotel, but since it won't have express and probably cost a notch above Cabana, I'll probably still combine a few days at Cabana with the rest at Portofino . I checked Universal's site and it appears all four hotels are sold out for this 3 day holiday weekend. It's showing no availability for rooms. Good for Universal.

Sapphire does look sexy... the name alone does it for me. It should do very well.

I wanted to say the same thing but chickened out. I thought the vertical belonged to RP. i took the ramp the other day and only saw dirt on the new hotel property. i started to snap some pics but i was afraid of ending up on the news. "Local idiot drives off adventure way ramp attempting to be nosy at what universal is up too."

The street that goes to Cabana Bay to the Sapphire Falls construction site, at the bottom of the I4 ramp if you are traveling west, has a new street sign of Sapphire Falls.
