Preparing to unleash my psychic attack to any rock fans over the age of 40. The primary thing I recognize Slash for is his crossover for the 2011 Phineas and Ferb movie.

This house idea is very silly.

Honestly at this point just give Slash his own house. He's done so much work for Hollywood he deserves it

As long as the queue isn’t long, I’ll be okay with this.

I am not gonna lie--this actually really sucks.

Scarecrow: The Reaping *thrived* off of something that is going to be effectively tainted by Slash's music in place: the ambience of what Scarecrow: The Reaping did. It felt like you were genuinely in the middle of nowhere, and the sound design in the house really helped make the house shine amazingly with that in mind. The facade felt as if you were in the Bayou scene, of Pirates.

I am not happy, of this change. I am genuinely not thrilled, of this change; as Slash's music is going to ruin the original intention of what made Scarecrow shine.

Also why get rid of the original subtitle??? If it wasn't a repeat I would get it but it is. I'm so confused by this choice

Official description:

“Scarecrow: Music by SLASH” puts retribution at the forefront in which Mother Nature seeks vengeance on the homesteaders for their sins of the past that will be carried out by farmland scarecrows, mute witnesses who have become the guardians of destruction for anyone who crosses their path.

This is a really good point, and I agree. I am still excited about the house - I did not get to experience the Hollywood Scarecrow house in 2022 - but I think this seems very valid.

They probably did it to highlight its uniqueness compared to Horror Unleashed’s Scarecrow

For the briefest, most confusing of moments, I thought the lower right picture was for a Taco Bell partnership.

Tbh, given I was expecting this to be a straight 1:1 repeat, I'm kinda fine with this.
I've never really felt like direct repeats ever recapture the energy they had their first year, so while I do 100% agree that the music will probably destroy the atmosphere, I also kinda feel like the atmosphere wasn't really gonna be the same to begin with, so I'm not super bothered.
If anything I'm curious what the music will actually sound like since we've only really heard Slash doing vaguely gothic stuff for the last 6 years.

Worst comes to worst we still have Las Vegas' Scarecrow on a semi-permanent basis, so hopefully if this ends up being a disappointment we'll still have that.
