Best idea I've heard yet. Of course, it's a legendary version of the "your twist is the most compelling marketing element" problem.

Overall it looks fine. Will probably enjoy it as I usually do with the Scream movies. Most likely is going to have too much nostalgia baiting in it. The homage Air BnB house is a fun idea.

I just think Scream is such a great idea for a slasher movie and it's perennially wasted on forcing the films to revolve around Sidney like she's the only character to ever exist. And yes I love her in the original film but there are so many things you could do with this set up, it continues to bum me out that we don't ever get anything new (because even the new Core Four were all based around legacy characters). Frustrating.

I wonder if they'll have the balls to kill Sydney's daughter in this. Part of me wonders if this is Stu (which the ending of the trailer seems to hint to Lillard having some role in the film, be if it's voice only or the full thing), I could see if it's the latter him killing her kid as a "Payback" moment.

I think it looks better than I thought the previous two looked from their trailers. Feels darker, which I appreciate.

Somebody important needs to die. VI was way, way too precious in its refusal to kill anyone.

I agree

I was thinking about how silly it is she has lived this long

I dont want her to die but at some point it just happens when you get attacked this much

But Horror today in the main stream films just dont have teeth....the hero's win way too often

Looks… interesting I suppose. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think I'm getting burnt out on Sydney, and wished they focused more on Sam. Sadly I don’t think it’s ever happening at all in the near future.

I’m gonna also place my bet, I don’t think it’s Stu. The trailer feels more of a lure to bait the “Stu is alive” theorists with the way everything is presented too clearly, because the filmmakers knows that’s what the fanbase wants.

Here’s the thing, Scream is always about meta-commentary with hot ongoing topics and the latest technology. So you know what I think?

Someone is using Stu as an AI voice to haunt Sydney. Who the killer is, I have no clue. But that’s what I’m leaning torwards too.

I used to feel sad that Jason Voorhees did not have that important main character like Laurie or Sydney ( Tommy Jarvis didn't really count) I always wished that Ginny had carried out her character in the sequels. been in more movies.

but after how annoying Laurie got in the recent Halloween trilogy ( and to be honest she was pretty annoying in H20) I know people love her, but sometimes they made her do and say some pretty cringe stuff.
and now Sydney is falling into that too.

it's interesting how nightmare on elm street got rid of Nancy.

I'm gonna hate it if it's some brand new guy introduced in this movie....
which is probably what it is
