Fright Fest 10/12/25 Review

These are the mazes I visited in order
SAW: Legacy of Terror
Trick ‘r Treat
The Conjuring
Willoughby’s
Carnage
Truth or Dare
Vault 666
Condemned: Forever Damned

These are my maze rankings
Carnage
SAW: Legacy of Terror
Trick ‘r Treat
The Conjuring
Truth or Dare
Vault 666
Willoughby’s
Condemned: Forever Damned

The longest line was SAW which was almost an hour followed by Trick r Treat. The rest of the mazes were pretty much walk ons. Carnage is exactly how FF needs to structure/run their mazes. I would take 8 new originals lead by Carnage over some IPs that we have gotten used to. SAW is still good but I wouldn’t be mad at this being the last year for SFMM. Conjuring has its entertaining parts but still not consistent. This was first time I ever went through the front park mazes and it was fulled staffed. Even Willoughby’s was fully staffed so I was able to enjoy it.

On my haunt event scale, I wouldn’t mad at anyone saying this is better than QMDH even though I slightly edge QMDH. Is this worth $99? I don’t think so, but $69 would be agreeable to me. Overall, this was a solid event based on their standards and FF needs to build on the momentum of Carnage.

Yeah Carnage's Sets and use of space is well done. The actors have lots of room to change up spots

Trick R Treat is the only IP house Id fight to keep, Saw is also popular so that could be back unless Blumhouse now have the maze rights

I think Six Flags should try to add a New IP house and new Original House next year, IPs draw people and sell merch but also the OG houses normally are really well done

I went this past Thursday, and it was absolutely dead. It would be a great time to go. I got all 7 mazes, a ride on Ninja, and 2 rides on Wonder Woman all 90 minutes. Plus, the haunted maze pass is on $25 on Thursdays (it's $30 on Fridays and I think Sundays, and $40 on Saturdays).

And if you have a legacy Diamond Elite/VIP pass, they still do Preferred Parking, Diamond Elite entrance, and Early Entry (and free haunt wristband). I arrived to park at 6:15 (it doesn't open until 7 on Thursdays), went through and already saw a line to enter the park, so I suspect they open parking at 6pm. And the line to enter the park was only because security wasn't ready yet. Security was ready by about 6:30, and the line mostly just sailed through once open.

And best yet, nearly all of the mazes were still fully staffed with scareactors! Even Truth or Dare had BOTH flyer positions going, which I haven't seen in ages. The only maze that did feel understaffed was Saw, oddly enough. Carnage was packed full of scareactors, even though I was basically the only person in it, haha!

Only major downside is that since gates don't really open until 7, there's no real opening ceremony. But Margo and Slider shows still happen. Get there on a Thursday if you can! It's crazy you can do 7 mazes in the time it takes for one HHN maze

Agreed

Thursday with or without maxes are amazing right now

If you have free parking, I’d try and go if you can. You should have a great time, it might be the best time of the year to go value wise. Low waits, free great shows, extra attractions and great weather

Well shoot, no lines and the $25 house pass have won me over. I have free parking so why not go. This pushed me to go. I've been getting a coaster itch as well so I guess I know what I'm doing Thursday night!

I'm assuming the answer's no, but the Gold AP doesn't get a discount on the house wristbands, right? I'm going tonight, having not planned to do houses and just take in the ambiance and a few rides for a couple hours, but now the group is asking me as if I know, when all I do know is I wasn't going to drop $40 tonight.
