While I don't think you're entirely wrong, and there's still obviously a lot of room for improvement, we also need to recognize they HAVE made a lot of improvements.
- Torn down ticket booths
- Created new Fright Fest Mazes
- Improved mobile Fast Lane experience
- Improving customer relations and interactions (while still inconsistent, it's honestly stepping up a lot more)
- Fewer closed rides/more reliability
- Added drink mug refill stations (they do still need more here for sure)
- Complete refresh of the entire Hurricane Harbor park
- Solar panels over parking, and working on charging stations
- Added new bathrooms near front of park (still need to redo the ones just behind the funnel cake place, those are awful)
- Removed gates from alcohol locations
- Adding more park specific branded merch
- New signage for Fastlane, and digital wait time signs and Single use Fast Lane kiosks are imminent
I think that's more because of the current single train ops on X2. On a recent visit, they took Revolution off FastLane, even though it had a two hour line (!), and when I asked the FastLane office about it, they said it was temporarily off the Fastlane due to the single train ops. This may be a new policy, I haven't run into it before, but it does make some sense. I'd imagine if Ghostrider went down to single train ops, they would take it out of Fastlane as well.
And on a related note, I believe I heard a rumor on IG that X2 may be getting it's second train back soon, so maybe Fastlane will be returning for it soon-ish if true?
