Just a fun little fyi.

There is still a really cool effect this attraction has that hasn't been used yet... Ever...

Hopefully it'll be running by the grand opening but we'll see.

Let me guess,
@DTale: the transition to the AA?
@Disneyhead: Nintendo?

Sorry to get off topic but I feel like Nintendo won't be included until the third park.

ok back on topic

Kong is a great ride, I think I would personally give it a 8/10 .

That makes sense. It would be mind-blowing in a sense, and would be a first for Universal but hey; I guess we'll see. One does wonder how that could be pulled off though..

It's surprising that THIS type of ride would have as many kinks as it does. The tech might be new to IOA but, if you've been around the theme park block, it's all pretty familiar.

Even as is I wouldn't be surprised that it relates to WNW, a part of me thinks that Comcast is wanting to make big announcements about their US resorts within the coming months (USH and UOR); so I guess we'll see.

It would be just shadows I believe. Not a really big deal, but very unnerving to everyone. I overthought it and wondered about false shadows and dents in the fabric as giant insects climb overhead. Shadow is the greatest effect in horror.

It seems that they have quietly fully opened Kong, which...makes some sense.

I recall you talking about something similar to this about a year or so ago.

These are from the US Travel trade show, effectively reeling in all those in the travel industry, tourism and marketing of such. These are displays meant to draw attention to Universal and give those in the industry what to expect for ads and such in the future. Kong is not fully open yet.
