Why are we not getting any 8th wonder merch? Is it really possible that they won't have any?

I really thought it was part of the ride. I thought it was on the trucks, and part of the back story of the ride?

Was it? I thought it was only in those online videos. I still haven't watched them.

The logo is in both the queue and on the ride vehicles. We should be getting this merchandise soon. Perhaps it's a production issue or maybe even a legal one, idk.

Even new HP merchandise was late in arriving at Diagon for it's opening. A lot of the newer merch didn't arrive until September 2014 and later. It's too early in the merch ballgame for Kong to be concerned....

I think they're waiting for Skull Island to be "officially" open to have 8th Wonder merch. Generic Kong stuff might sell on its own, but 8th Wonder stuff specific to the ride that may or may not be open on any given day should probably wait until that ride is always open.

My family from out of town still loved the ride with the 360 motion base not working yesterday. But they didn't know better, I did.

The audio voice of the driver is very awkward if the truck skips the outdoor loop. The guy says don't put on your glasses, then is cut off mid sentence shortly after and says to put on your glasses.

The roof projections were turned on this time. It's a very minor effect. I doubt many guests will ever even notice it.

Grabbing a hot dog then heading into the park. Will update on how things are looking at Kong when I get back there.

As long as I don't melt first.

I really hope there is Eighth Wonder merch by October.

Out of selfish reasons, of course.

Yep. At this time in 2014 Gringotts had very little capacity, and they were writing new software constantly to correct the issues. Heck, when I rode Gringotts in Sept. 2014 the water & heat effects still weren't working and the climactic tunnel scene was hit & miss. But I still loved the ride. Now that everything works right, it's great.

This is what happens when Goblin bankers get into the entertainment business. Just imagine what would happen if they tried to get into the comedy business?

Yes, they'll work out the kinks and it'll be a great ride. Reviews are already, on the whole, better than the initial Gringott's reviews, so I have great confidence this will be one of my top theme park attractions once I get the opportunity in Sept. ....Note on Gringotts: My rides in 2015 & 2016 (apx. 15, were all perfect & issue free). My first dozen rides in Sept. 2014 were good except for the effects I talked about in my previous post. Gringotts has great re rideability. It just gets better & better the more times you ride it, the more things you see, and the different experiences & perspectives from different seats.

we were there last early June. We only rode Gringotts once, mostly because it broke down a lot. We got out of line twice after breakdowns, and long lines from the breakdowns.
*I just realized that kinda sounds whiny. We really liked the ride, and look forward to riding it again. There, that sounds better.

Where are you getting these wait times? Is it a web site? I'd like to see it too.

Rode back half center for the first time and had the best ride I've had yet.

Best overall seats are rows 7-9 in the middle imo. I really dislike how the screen edges are EXTREMELY visible when you sit on the outside of the RV.
