I'd imagine something like this played out behind the scenes:


Management A: "Let's replace the signboard in front of Special Effects with a few video monitors. I'm sure that'll make it easier on show control - and who knows, we can probably use them for multiple events."


Management B: "Sounds like a plan. Set aside $5000 and let's work on it."


...next day...


Show control: "Wha...?"


...next month...


Management A: "So about those monitors in front of Special Effects...not exactly the best idea, huh?"


Management B: "Scrap it."


...the day after...


Show control: "??"

Yup, they did. The second one you have pictured was the original/first one they used.

Fluffy always scared the crap out of me, I have to admit. There's something unbelievably terrifying about a monster animatronic coming to life.

(But hilarious to watch the reactions of the kids!)

So correct me if im wrong but wasent the Special effects stage in the veolution plan? if it was when can we expect to see something new here? and any wild gueses of what it could be?

It is in the Evolution Plan along with Waterworld, Hotels, and a new Amphitheater.  Just remember that these could be added in future phases of the EP.  Does it mean that the ideas are fully fleshed out...no.  Anything can change until construction begins.  So, don't hold your breath.

so if the SES does change  do you think that having a new attraction so close to the upcoming Springfield food court that in someway it could be another Simpsons type attraction if they are trying to keep everything in "theme"
