Best case scenario if she's not Jean Grey (I know a lot of you don't want her as that character but personally I think she would be great in the role) is that she's either Gwen Stacy or Black Cat. I'm leaning towards Black Cat/Felicia Hardy if she's not Jean. I think she would be a great choice for that character

I don't hate her for Jean (beyond my general desire for an older X-Men team), but I do think inserting Jean into a Spider-Man story is an odd choice.

As far as Black Cat goes, I'd rather see someone who feels a little closer to 30 than 20.

Oh another idea I keep seeing now is Firestar... that would be kinda perfect. A mutant character that already has heavy ties to Spider-Man and she fits the type. I actually love that idea. Spider-Man 4 taking inspiration from the "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" cartoon would be cool!

why start with jean grey, in a Spider-Man movie? and do they explain the x men here? will Charles show up?
you see what I mean? most people won't recognize the name alone.so they gotta explain the x men. but then will the x men mansion show up? will she use her powers? where's everyone else? is she gonna have an x men costume? ??

This movie takes place after Avengers Doomsday so I'm sure if that's who's she's playing it'll make sense.

I think she's either Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane. Zendaya's MJ has already been established as "Michelle Jones", and it's been rumored Spider-Man 4 is the start of a whole new arc. Peter's conflict with leaving the past behind and moving forward with someone else would be thematically great.

I have trouble believing she's going to play a Mutant.
