^ Which we've established a bit ago ;)

I'm glad we're getting a Welcome to Springfield sign! I also can't wait to see all the sight gags. It's those little details that "make" a theme park.

I'm crossing my fingers that food quality doesn't go down after the first few months, like in Gru's Cafe....Gru's was my new favorite in the park until they removed and changed the best options a few months after it opened...

Looks like we're getting Stu's Disco! I almost suggested that aside my Skip's Diner theory.

Still pretty bummed about the Bowlarama, but it's not a bad alternative. At least we'll still be getting a neon sign for this venue.

^ Doubt it, the only confirmed new walk-around characters are Krusty and Sideshow Bob. If anything, we'll see statue's of Chief Wiggum, Jedediah Springfield, Barney (inside Moe's) and POSSIBLY Moe, Patty and Selma, and Officer's Eddie and Lou. It doesn't appear Snake will be coming taking out the window of the top right of the police station as shown in the concept art.

Yes, Snake will be there. Maybe not at the capacity of the concept art but the window to the far right of the Police Station façade looks like it will be lit from the back. (Kind of like the Shadow gag used during HHN) Probably will see his silhouette dismantling the window before getting caught. Pretty cool that UC decided to add little touches like that to make the area seem "alive."

My mistake then, didn't appear like it from photos I have seen, or even in person for the matter.

No worries. If you see past photos on this forum or construction updates from IU, the only actual window is the one where Snake appears in the concept art. Not to mention that façade doesn't have an actual roof on the second floor besides a small room directly behind that window.

Snake will likely still be there in statue form. All of the windows of the Police Station are fully installed, except for the one on the very right. That particular window also has some sort of temporary tarp/cover behind it as opposed to a set of blinds like the other windows.

If the supports on the Penitentiary for Sideshow Bob and the incomplete window on the Police Station for Snake are any sign of what's to come, I think we'll also be getting Moe, Eddie, Lou, and Herman as seen in the concept art.

If you're referring to the Children running away from the Hounds it doesn't seem like they were included, although they could probably be added in once they install the entrance gate to Mr. Burns Mansion.

I am hearing that Duff is very behind and probably will not open with the main Fast Food Blvd.  However, I expect not everything will be completed when it opens anyway.

That rare moment of something entirely new at USH is almost upon us.  New memories, new experiences (that will get old quick...), and a beginning to the feeling of an all new theme park!

I am scared and excited at the same time.

^ my sentiments exactly! Besides parts of the Studio Tour and Jurassic Park and a few locations, and certain remaining elements and layouts of past attractions, the theme park is gonna almost completely different. Exciting but scary.

I'm nothing but excited. This isn't just new food, but an entirely new experience. It's Universal's second attempt at an entire, cohesive mini-land, and it's replacing a previously lackluster area of the park. Gone are the days of Hollywood Cantina, Doc Brown's, and an endless sea of blue and white umbrellas in the middle of "Simpsons Plaza"!

Bring on the Ribwiches, Chicken Thumbs, and Flaming Moes!

This, exactly this! Not only does an actual themed land excite me, but the fact that it's Springfield is even more amazing. I absolutely LOVE the original Simpsons episodes, and can't wait to see the land come into play. Hopefully not too far from soft opening!

Not only is Springfield so exciting, but what's going on at Universal Studios Hollywood is amazing as a whole.  It's basically turning into a smaller version, but with arguably more superior theming, of Orlando's parks.  I remember when the Simpsons Ride first opened when I was maybe around 16 thinking that our park was never going to change much.  Transformers and Despicable Me weren't even open and there was no Springfield or Wizarding World construction in site.  But here we are today and the complete opposite is happening :)  I certainly never thought we'd have a Wizarding World until they announced it!

Oh, I 100% agree! As a major BTTF fan, I'm now happy Doc's left! I love the cohesive and immersive themeing and how we're now getting fantastic lands in a park where it wasn't even imagined before! 1000% an improvement. When I said that it's all "exciting but scary", I meant because of how fast it's changing in front of our eyes and that the Universal of yesteryear is gone haha. But I'm extremely excited for the future. We're in the middle of the second golden age of USH.
