For sure. Framing justified negativity as a performative and facile play for attention that hurts the pwor company is what bothers me. I get that the mods want to foster an environment counter to the toxicity found on other forums. Make that explicit rather than trotting out justifications that make you sound like a corporate stooge or someone whose sense of what constitutes genuine discourse has been broken by the Internet.

I probably won’t ever stay here, but as a Star Wars fan and as someone who’s intrigued by what’s ultimately a bizarre concept, I am looking forward to hearing more and seeing the first reviews. I don’t think this specific hotel will be a slam dunk based on what they’ve shown so far, but I’m open minded about what might work, if for nothing else to see how other companies leverage that into more successful variations of the concept.

That’s something mentioned in all literature, so that’s definitely happening. And they’re literally building a bus entry thing at the back of the land we can see for the hotel.

The itinerary is an “example” and is only for illustrative purposes. We have not seen a real one yet, but that doesn’t mean many of the things on it won’t be real. We know time on the bridge is real. Lightsaber training is real. Batuu is real. Free meal voucher for Docking Bay 7 is real. Dinner service is real. Etc.

Batuu is a legit thing but I think the TWO Sabacc games and other activities are "fake". I think they're showing the only set things to do while keeping some secrets up their sleeves. I just think they expected people to be more excited by them...

This is kind of what I expected. MiB training videos don't warn you aliens will actually attack and you'll have to press the red button. Brandon Frasier's pre-show doesn't explicitly tell us the curse is real. I would expect a couple instances of "thing goes horribly wrong" throughout the cruise.

They're both established musical acts. No reason to believe they couldn't be on tour with the Starcruiser.

If only there was some sort of intergalactic tour company running many flights daily between the Moon of Endor to Tatooine. Call it something like the Starwarts Express or maybe Star Tours.

This is bad....googled star wars galactic cruiser and all the top stories are astoundingly negative. Its also what people first see when they google this.

People's minds/value for things have changed over the past year. Prior to 2020, I think Disney could've gotten away with this but I think people in general have much higher expectations for the value of money.

Also, Scott Trowbridge name is attached to this project.....I would not want my name as a creative associated to this.
