They started testing out single rider

You would skip all the Q up until the interrogation room

Hope it comes to Disneyland as well

They certainly should be able to rotate/alternate. Or have the Mando version playing on two of the carousels, and the original playing on the other two (there are four, aren't there?).

Will they do that? I'd be surprised. They'd probably have to rewrite the preshow to be vague enough to fit either version.

I don't think the general public would be happy if they got the mission based on Solo over the mission based on The Mandalorian. And would most people on first time vacations choose the Hondo mission over the Mando one?

Yeah, I agree. That's sort of inherently one of the problems with this ride is that no one knows or cares about Hondo except the big time star wars geeks. They also don't necessarily do much to make him endearing like Star Tours did with Captain Rex.

The public wants something they know which is Mandalorian & Grogu. Why do they have the Millennium Falcon? Who knows! But not many will care either.

I’d bet Hondo remains the MC, and then Mando either crashes our mission or we help him out with his.

I do think Hondo’s presence will be improved by having someone to talk to on the ride besides us; a crucial part of why Rex/C3-PO work is that they have banter with the other characters as they appear on the little side screen.

For changing the pre show, remember the final video you see before the ride with the mission details from Hondo is live action so they could easily swap it out depending on the mission.

Whats also a thought it was always rumoured there was more than 1 mission from the outset, Im curious what happened to them as the mando one is gonna be brand new from the ground up
