State of USH - What's Next?

Want to ask this in light of the math guess I did, but how much space is ET taken up by storage for the sake of the park? With potentially 149 parking spaces needing to be redistributed in the wake of P294's Central Security hub and that of P515, my wonder is if they could redistribute the storage that is at ET to be completely at H-Lot going forward.

Talking with a friend, I could've sworn they use the basement of ET partially as a means of storing that of seasonal events and that of materials for park projects. One would wonder if they could use the lack of visibility over by H-Lot to better cover up certain things from prying eyes. Only real way you can see stuff from H-Lot is by a limited view on the side of the Hollywood Hills, and even that's a considerable gaps worth of distance.

OH! *Slaps forehead* Duh! I hardly ever park there since I'm always coming in from Lankershim. That's why it never occured to me. The parking spaces statement should've been a dead giveaway.

Well, on the topic of parking spaces, I remember some rumors a little while back about a Harry Potter expansion coming to Falls lake...yes, I know that's been a rumor for a while. I think there may be credence to this rumor being that they are building a hotel. I don't think they would be building an on-site hotel if there wasn't more stuff they planned on adding!

With that said, if this Potter expansion materializes, I would imagine they will have to build another parking garage. That's how the ET structure came to fruition after all.

Before the start and end of every escalator there are new speakers attached above and there is a new female voice that replays the same 5 second spiel on loop with no gaps.

The old narrator still gives his spiel after every other song like before on the main starway speakers, you maybe hear his voice twice during your entire 4 escalator trip.

Went to the Park Saturday and stopped by Sunday for an hour

Saturday the park was just empty. I Know its the off season and will have to go back and look at videos but I don't remember a full weekend where this ride was a walk on the entire day. So this park felt like Universal would be like before SNW world opened, just everything being basically a walk on all day...it was night an day from a week ago

The air seemed fine, on the app it did recommend a face mask, most were not wearing a mask but many employees were.

Lost of Holiday stuff is still up, including at the front entrance. SNW merch was still 50% off, Grinch 70% and Minions at 30% also seems these can be stacked with you AP discount at least the Grinch merch I got an extra 15% off.

Gwen Mallard is back out, I saw here both on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday they did not take us next to the court house sqaure but turned us near brown street, I did not get pictures but looked like it was being worked on for either a film or maybe fanfest...it looked like the clock was back at the top of it.

I asked on Saturday (guests relations) if the Sweepers dancing show was happening and they told me the only show happening that day was the Tri wizard Tournament
Speaking of the Tri wizard Tournament, they now have a Twins in the Durmstrang act when I saw it.....felt like the crowd really liked the I kept hearing people around me talking about it during the show and it is cool to see two guys who look just alike fight one another

Hello Kitty dropped Lunar New Years Merch on Sunday. Some magnets, themed envelopes, little pins and a T shirt. Hello kitty is still in here normal outfit

Fun thing I saw is Dracula hypnotizing one of the police and making him walk toward him in a trace whistling his whistle with each step

Last Note which is not fun was on Saturday at around 1:30 PM all the simpsons were meeting (bart was not there) and I was second in line this woman came out on the other side of the meet and greet where people exit and then claimed she was first in line which the TM directed her to the other side where the line is
She got angry quickly and started to curse at the guy and left....just to come back because one of her family saw the TM called on the radio for security. She came back mad again and now threatening. She kept wanting to tell her side of the story and when the TM pointed out he had witnesses and even a video (me because I was filming) she then said "i don't care about your witnesses are they going to follow you back to your car...because i will...you don't want to F....... with me"
I tried to get a picture still but it was over Marge made a signage to the TM's and the characters were mobbed by people trying to get photo's as they tried to leave, I did not see the woman get kicked out but pretty sure thats a life time ban for threatening a TM or god, I hope it is

All we got was a half-assed overlay at Hollywood & Dine + merch in Feature Presentation. Why no meet-n-greet like Orlando & Singapore?

Of course I'm amused that Japan who used to have a 30min show seems to have nothing.

I think it was mentioned over on I think this thread or the Wicked at USO thread, it had something to do with finding the proper actors (someone correct me if I'm wrong) plus Orlando has much more space and is thus more likely to get an actual Wicked land if they want to fast track it for the parks if part 2 is yet another slam dunk hit.

If the casting thing is true either they lost who they used to have it find people or didn’t give enough time

Because they used to cast for bill and Ted’s (yes not a meet and greet) but my friend who went said you could tell who most the people were trying out for on there looks like say Katy Perry, Kesha etc

So would be very surprised if they couldn’t find people or couldn’t find people quick enough or it’s a money thibg

Since literally if you go to USH right now the only live show is the revised tournament also the entertainment budget is much smaller then it used to be similar to Disneyland’s
