Doing a full lagoon and house when the shows done and ended at its lowest acclaim, quality stuff. So much potential with the overarching theme of the year too, and to get no big written stage show, AND no lagoon show, just blegh. As mentioned, probably Netflix's hand, but to not have something like this just as a clip show in the Bourne theatre with some effects, thats all it should be. Big sigh over here from me.

Kids is the best song from Stranger Things so I can't imagine that not being included.

Stranger Things is part of HHN's identity at this point. It's been one of the event's biggest IPs for the last decade, and the general public still loves it even if the final season was more divisive among fans. If this is the franchise's last run at HHN, especially during an anniversary year, it makes sense they'd want to give it a bigger spotlight.

Plus, outside of the first Marathon of Mayhem, the original lagoon shows haven't exactly been runaway hits. If you're going to put a lagoon show on during HHN 35, using one of your biggest IPs seems like the safer bet.

What I want.

EDIT - With Nightmare Fuel back in FFL, a Stranger Things clip/media show would have fit well in Bourne. The Lagoon show *should* have been the story/battle between Jack and Oddfellow.

I know I'm not in Orlando but I don't understand why some are so disappointed

You are getting two BRAND new shows.....while us over at Hollywood are looking at the third year of the same show. From a far, at least I just don't understand why its bad. I don't even like ST outside of season one but the show to me I can imagine will be a good time

Yeah it'll be fun to walk up to 5 minutes before the show with a beer or drink and watch for 10 minutes.

Should I Stay or Should I Go on the wish list as well. And hey, if they can get the rights easily, a snippet of Ghostbusters with the boys in their costumes might be fun, even if it wasn't actually used on the show as far as I can recall.

But basically a nice Friday Night 80s playlist for the Ozzy/H.R./Hellraiser fans

Yeah, this is basically what nostalgia fans (not necessarily me) are clamoring for.

There is no way this isn't a huge hit with the playlists being suggested here.

My point is people are complaining about getting two new shows

Isn't that what we want? Like Theme parks want provide something new and people are like no thanks I'd rather the shows not get updated?

Are you even reading what people are saying? Nobody is saying, "no, I don't want a new show." People are saying they don't care for Stranger Things as the theme of the lagoon show.

It's not my thing either but it has great music and some cool moments, I'm excited to see how they do this because for me the show fits better then the houses normally do

Can I ask why?

From what I've seen online its basically WOC but Universal themed.....I'd take that at USH in second

It comes down to a matter of opinion for me.
I love the style of 2019's MOM and also enjoy 30's lagoon show. I enjoy the format of the shows because it's a collection of that year's theme and lineup. This year has some great material and for them to use and not to capitalize on that in a lagoon show is less interesting to me.
Ozzy's music practically was made for a show like this and it's sad we won't be seeing it in action. I could say the same about some of the music from Hellraiser (love that theme).

But to be honest, if they were going to base the whole show around one IP this year Stranger Things is the obvious pick.
I am sure it will be good but I think the lagoon show is best when it gives an overview of the entire event.

While I would love for them to take another crack at something like 2019's Marathon of Mayhem, I fear that may have just been lightning in a bottle.

I think what @Jerroddragon means is that this is a pretty dumb thing for people to be whining about, since the show hasn’t even opened yet.

Huge thumbs down. 100% skip. Maybe if the final season wasn't a joke I'd have a pinky's worth of interest. This should be projected on the house, nothing more.

Maybe it'll be an exciting show, but the subject matter fell off a cliff.

Can we have a LOST lagoon show next year?
