I would just like to say that Ready Steady Go is really good theme music for any racing.

^ EXACTLY!!!! The part where they describe how "fast" you go (without explaining that it's VIRTUAL) is a HUUUUGE PR nightmare imo.

See what I mean though? Even Pink is confused!

Well, luckily for us, none of us work for Universal.

Shame about the employees though. I wouldn't want to walk a mile in their shoes - especially those working the Studio Tour.

Sad part it's not going to just be the Tour cast members. Everyone is going to be asked "where is the fast and furious ride that's big and goes fast like on tv?" And all of them will either sigh and point them to the tour or explain to them.

I'm seeing it all over the Internet right now. If a huge majority of uninformed potential guests are already confused as all hell online, it's going to be even worse in person. I know it's a long shot, but I sincerely hope someone in higher management realizes the mistake and somehow tries to budget in a new commercial or campaign.

Haha where did the 400ft bit come from? Are they confusing this with Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster? I mean, at least the PRs aren't misleading so I have to assume the news sources are just creating all of this out of thin air.

If the attraction was even a simple outdoor roller coaster I wouldn't have a problem with what is advertised. Because it would be indicative of what you would experience: high speeds, inversion, drops, seated two by two holding onto grip bars. Yeah seems about right.

But a 3D simulated experience on (like I keep saying) four large bulky trams that seat dozens of people? No.

You don't want to even be there when people get the point, wait 1 hour to get on a tram and then 40 minutes later are then told they'll have wait til the animation is working again and then wait AGAIN at a later time to take a tram to the attraction. I know that Kong 360 did this as well (and still does sometimes) but at least that was set near the beginning of the tour and not as the "finale".

Oy this entire attraction is going to be one terrific spectacle and a huge headache at the same time. This is why I honestly believe Universal should bite the bullet this summer and opt into making a separate "F&F express tram" line for the entire season. Have them alternate with a regular ST tram. This way this will regulate things as the understanding for the attraction becomes accepted and known by the GA that they're attracting: LA locals.

So what your saying is they should put the old SS28 plot to good use this summer. ;)

Well that'd have to be the regular ST entrance or else that would be some drive over to the Falls Lake area! And is much too soon to even think about that. I think with how expanded and large the tour queue area is they could manage something temporary. (I like your thinking though!)

SS28 plot is definitely right now being developed for a tent maze for HHN this year, I guarantee it.

With the gorgeous new Tour entrance and courtyard, I don't think it's moving anytime in the near future.

But I think they could figure out a way to split the tour queue and have half do F&F and half do the regular tour. It would be smart, as the drive towards F&F wouldn't be long.

I'm sorry but universals PR department are fu**king idiots. And they are doing this on the 50th anniversary of the tour. They could have advertise this in a way much better way.

Can't wait until F&F supercharged to be open soon!

(Still remembering that it's part of the studio tour.)

Strange how they weren't wearing the 3D glasses in the F&F Supercharged commercial.

Another deception I suppose...

They didn't use 3D glasses for the Minion Mayhem commercial either. Seems like that's a running trend now.

Most likely because when the general public sees "3D" + "Universal Studios Hollywood" nowadays, they probably groan, roll their eyes, and say "another one?"

Trust me...it happens. I love USH but I know there's a large percentage of visitors who are tired of 3D stuff. I've been to the park with out of town tourists and while they like the park, they kept saying "it felt like we were just sitting in front of screens all day, it got old"
