Genuinely honest: this might be an all-timer Giacchino theme.

It's genuinely a shame these characters will be stuck at Avengers Campus when they belong in Tomorrowland.

Having the choir literally sing "FAN-TAS-TIC FOUR" is just the kind of silly that I like.

Giachino is perfect for an F4 movie.

Figured i'd mention that the F4 teaser that was shown at SDCC was shown at D23 and is all over twitter if you want to try and catch it before Disney takes the videos down.

And once again, they get my hopes up. Gah!

Seriously, it's disheartening to see what a hatchet job Fox did on the general image of these characters; I can't tell you how many people I've seen say that no one asked for this. The original F4 comics were every bit as formative for me as the original Spidey ones.

I hate to admit it but even for me they are tainted. and I love comic stuff. it wasn't even the story of those movies. it was the awful dialogue and goofy acting and " humor".
those movies are really goofy and just silly. can't take them seriously after that

I do think there's a "Seinfeld Effect" where everything F4 did has been ripped off so many times that any new iteration struggles to feel original. Obviously the previous iterations did little to help but the tropes the original comic invented are now cliches. I'm a fan of every actor in the cast but I hope the writers find a way to make things fresh.

My point exactly lol. I assume you're just talking about the '05/'07 movies, because there was literally no element of joy in the '15 movie...just 90 minutes of people brooding in dark rooms.

Yeah, as much as I love the Guardians trilogy I can't help but feel like they would've been the F4 instead had the MCU had the rights.

I'm one of the few who prefers F4 to X-Men, BTW.

the early 2000s movies had a good cast but they were just too silly.

Lol, yeah, and the Corman cash-in. I forgot the 2015 version was a thing as well.
