I have a feeling Phase 2 isn't the last phase in Uni's plans.

It may have already been brought up but I believe once phase 2 is done plans we'll be set to transform the rest of the Lost Continent into the Forbidden Forest with a few attractions.

What do you guys think? Any ideas for attractions shops etc.? Do you think this is even a possibility?

Also I'm pretty sure the FF was already mentioned in the initial plans for Phase 1 which adds to my suspicions that it will eventually be added. It'd be pretty much a complete experience once all is said and done.

nope. already a nod to it on FJ and a wee bit of a nod in the outdoors queue of DC behind Hagrid's Hut. that is the end of the road and story for the ff.

The main reason I don't see this happening would be because I don't think that the Forbidden Forest is nearly as iconic or recognizable as Hogsmeade, Hogwarts, or Diagon Alley. At the end of the day, the Forbidden Forest is just that: a forest. Universal has done some amazing things with the theming for WWoHP, but even they may have problems finding a way to make a bunch of trees feel immersive.

Aside from that, the location you mentioned wouldn't make sense. The Forbidden Forest is at the edge of the castle grounds, and therefore wouldn't make sense to be placed outside of the entrance to Hogsmeade.

Hogsmeade isn't right next to Hogwarts either, but still, the most you could do is a small dark ride, which isn't even feasible.

There will likely be forest theming between the train station and Hogsmeade, but that's it. There also is the bit of forest between Hogsmeade and Jurassic Park. That ravine is nice.

Good points. And yeah sorry for the placement confusion I'm not too HP savvy only seen a few of the films.

New question though, what else could be placed in the LC? i know LOTR has been mentioned but I doubt that. Do you think they'll just add another LC attraction eventually or will they leave it as is?

One rumor floating around has Seuss extending over and taking some LC real estate away. Other than that, no one really knows if Uni even wants to/has plans to replace LC.

I think that you will see LC eventually go away........too much valuable real estate. Thankfully, it is located between their 2 strongest lands in WW and SL.

Phase 2 will be the last of the actual attractions.

One does not put all of their eggs in one basket. It already has more attractions of a theme park than any one property in existence.

You answered your own question.

Potter faithful will reward Universal heavily for building the complete experience. Regular guests will enjoy it also. I hope they manage to offer new retail and food and beverage in Diagon Alley.

Speculation says that it is to increase profits/park experience with one of the most beloved book series ever written, and use that series as a piggy back to invent new and innovative attractions that they have been working on for years...However I believe the bus driver I talked to the other day that said they're doing it to bother and annoy die-hard fans of Jaws and LC.

interesting idea, but I don't see it happening. I'd rather they expand Seuss or create something brand new. I guess Mythos is the only thing that's really holding that area together at the moment. The two shows are not very popular from what I've heard.

I don't think LC will become Seuss. The two lands are far too detached from one another. LC will either get new attractions with a similar theme, or be themed to some sort of fantasy property.

LOTR is the easiest change over, IMO. Make Poseidon into a ride, theme the Poseidon/Mythos area to Rivendell, and go on from there.

Tolkien's kids don't want LOTR in a theme park.

Until someone drives a dumptruck full of money to their front door.

And i've heard this as well, but haven't heard where it came from.
