Like c'mon, this is so "easy".

Just not 100% sure on what the attraction at the end should be.

I did a quick concept of how that could be done, sometime last year. Would be really easy to just reskin, tbh

I don’t care what anyone has to say, I think a BTTF land isn’t just possible, it’s likely. Probably not in Springfield where it was before, but I don’t think that’s impossible either. There’s more than enough hype for it, the original land didn’t really do the movie justice at all, and there’s a disgusting amount of money to be made in merchandising.

It really depends on what they're replacing Supercharged with. That's been rumored to be BTTF related for awhile so we'll see I guess

I guess the only problem with Spongebob, even though it fits like a glove, is: "too" many bubbly, family centric IPs in the park.

The only more "adult" IP currently is Harry Potter, [Micheal Bay] Transformers, Mummy, WaterWorld, Simpsons, Jurassic World, and Fast & Furious.

Compared to Minions, Pets, Mario, Dreamworks...wait a second. :lmao:

Yeah, put Spongebob in there lmao.

Personally I think BTTF could have a serious shot at coming back.

The biggest expense would be having to redo the ride footage for the modern age and reskinning the cars back to the DeLorean…and some maintenance to the motion bases. Everything outside of that would literally just be a glorified paint job. To cover the dated feel of the ride, have a sign in the preshow room that shows the current time set to 1991.

The restaurants can be a quick retheme from Cletus’ > Doc Brown’s fried chicken, Krusty Burger > Cafe 80’s, and Moe’s > Uhhhh…..Biff’s Tavern?

I think they should just retheme Simpsons back ti BTTF. GP and the people my ago would dig it. It would be a perfect holdover until they find a better use of the space for another 5-10 years.

But yeah as long as the anchor ride isn’t another simulator (Which let’s face it, it probably would be), I don’t hate the idea of SpongeBob. Only thing is…would Nickelodeon allow a SpongeBob themed bar?

Pretty sure its been talked about that that ride system is beyond saving. Thought lots of foundation issues.

Unless it's a coaster with minimal queue footage for "story" purposes, I'm not gonna lie -- a new story-based BTTF ride would still sting a little bit in terms of the fact there's only so much they can do in regards to the original cast being involved at this point. Either we get new actors playing the characters (which then takes away some of the appeal because they're not who we know and love), the ride involves none of the original characters (so then what's the point), drag a nearly 90-year-old Christopher Lloyd out to play Doc Brown, we get CGI recreations of beloved characters that'd make no one happy, or (definitely not likely) Universal springs a boatload to de-age those who are still capable.

…which is why they should just bring back the BTTF ride at this point.

They could re-theme the Moe's section of FFB into Weenie Hut Juniors.

A ride focused on SpongeBob's driving lessons would work really well. It's an ongoing joke how bad he is on show so there's plenty to work with.

Too bad there isn't a lot of space because they could do a ride similar to Kong where he has different characters helping him for a slightly different ride each time.

The only "issue" with that is there would be three rides in the park with very similar premises ( c a r s ). But it is probably the easiest thing to pull off besides a literal Simpsons Ride rethread but its with Glove World. Or it could be a pirate thing invovling the Flying Dutchman.

Gimme an animatrionic of this guy in the preshow. He'll look like a painting at first, then he'll "pop" out of the potrait. Would be freaky as hell lol.

Don't want to continue getting the thread off topic, but this premise with Disney's Enhanced Motion Vehicle would be amazing.

They can always expand into the tram stop for whatever replacement they do for Simpsons.
