The Future of The Simpsons Ride/Springfield (Orlando)

With the license expiring by 2028, the speculative consensus has stuck to Pokemon. The bigger question is when they'd want to start work on the matter more than if.

I mentioned this before on the USH side--but I think Springfield's gone by 2027. I don't know if it'd be both coasts, but the detheming process is going to be more intricate than that of when USJ closed Spider-Man. And while Universal seemed to have a specific date when they closed Spider-Man in Osaka; I can't help but think due to the scale of the land that they will want to get ahead of the curve.

Honestly my main wondering right now is if we'll get new Sprungs next year to replace the current ones, if the Springfield replacement encroaches into that.

I believe the new sprung tents have already been constructed per BioReconstruct.

Take this with a grain of salt obviously, but there is a poster on WDWMagic (lazyboy97o) who claims that Pokemon is still coming to Orlando, but things moved around and its no longer slated for Springfield

Could've sworn the new tents constructed last year were meant to replace the Parade Buildings in the terms of being used for the event--not the old sprungs.

Something better be slated for Springfield by the end of the decade.

It would have to considering the contract and state of the ride system. If this WDWMagic poster is accurate, maybe the Pokemon Company wanted a bigger land that what Springfield provided Or Universal has something else in mind for that area now. If you combine the space with FFL+MIB and lump in Simpsons, you will have about an 8-9 acre land

I'm confused now. IIRC the pics of the new sprung tents constructed to the left of the outgoing ones near Simpsons had a queue which looks like it would be HHN ready. If those are not the ones that will be replacing the outgoing ones when Simpsons goes, where would they be constructed?
